This study evaluates the antioxidant qualities present in the ethanolic leaf extract of Sinapis alba ( S. alba ). As well as evaluating the content of phenols and flavonoids, and their effectiveness in protecting the heart from heart disease caused by sodium nitrite (SN) in rats (30 mg/kg body weight). Four experimental groups (control, S. alba , SN, and S. alba + SN) with six rats each were carefully examined over a period of six weeks. The administration of SN significantly increased oxidative stress markers like MDA and LDH and decreased antioxidant enzymes like CAT, GSH, and SOD. It also significantly increased levels of AST, ALT, LDL, cholesterol, triglycerides, and decreased HDL levels. Surprisingly, S. alba leaf extract significantly improved these biochemical and cardiac tissue histological changes induced by SN (P < 0.05). Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine how well carica papaya leaf extract mitigates the effects of paracetamol on blood biochemical markers and oxidative damage of rats. Six groups each group consists of six male albino rats, weighing 150 ± 15 g, were created. Group one consisted of a healthy group; Group two consisted of rats given an ethanol papaya extract (100 mg/kg body weight); Group three consisted of rats given an ethanol papaya extract (200 mg/kg body weight).Rats in group four were given paracetamol (2g/kg b.wt). Rats in group five received a pretreatment of carica papaya extract (100 mg/kg body weight) and a 30-minute paracetamol treatment. Rats in group six received 200 mg/kg body weight of carica papaya extract as a pretreatment before receiving paracetamol. The experiment continued for two months. The group receiving paracetamol showed a significant increase in blood markers, including urea, creatinine, AST, ALT, and ALP. As a result of these findings, preventing oxidative stress caused by paracetamol was achieved through pretreatment with carica papaya extract which improved antioxidant enzymes (CAT and SOD). The QuEChERS method was used for the extraction and purification, Residues were analyzed using GCMS/MS and LCMS/MS. The expected daily intake (EDI) and a hazard index were determined. The standard deviations were (1% to 7.5%, while the LOD varied from 0.0004 to 0.0231 ng/gm -1 . The LOQ (0.0012 to 0.0693 ng/gm -1 ). The results revealed that all samples were contaminated with residues of 35 different pesticides, out of which 31.48% exceeded the maximum residual limits (MRLs), while 64.8% contained concentrations below the MRLs. The most frequently detected pesticides were cypermethrin (found in 27 out of 54 samples), followed by carbendazim (20/54), profenofos (10/54), orthophenylphenol (OPP) (9/54), and Pascalid (9/54). Chloropyrifos, thiabendazole, and myclobutanil were detected in 6 out of 54 samples.
