The characteristics of research tasks constructed as a system of tasks organizing the main stages of children’s linguistic research are substantiated: problem situation; awareness of a cognitive issue; building hypotheses; application of methods used in linguistic science (observation, classification, language experiment); presentation of a report (verbal or graphic). The possibility of using this model for the development of research linguistic tasks in extracurricular work with primary schoolchildren is shown. Examples of such tasks are given.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"223 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139834711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is argued that at this age children show a special need to understand the world of adults: various areas of their work activity, professional preferences, the meaning of the chosen profession for a person and his loved ones. To satisfy this need, it is necessary to search for optimal methodological support for early professional propaedeutics. The article proposes a developed and experimentally tested version of the methodological support of the educational process of career guidance for preparing primary school graduates for their future choice of profession.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"691 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139835431","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All components are characterized within the content of education and the requirements for preparing a primary school graduate. Scientific and methodological approaches that can help improve the mathematical literacy of primary schoolchildren are described. The work uses data from the implementation of individual tasks of regional monitoring in recent years, the international comparative study TIMSS (Trends in Mathematics and Science Study), as well as experimental work at the experimental sites of the Institute for Educational Development Strategy.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"4 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139180869","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, this process seems obviously difficult for many of them due to the age characteristics of younger schoolchildren, stereotypes in the construction of educational classes and the organization of extracurricular activities, and habitual strategies for interacting with children. The article provides an example of the practical implementation of this regulatory requirement by a primary school teacher - the winner of the regional stage and the finalist of the final stage of the “Russian Teacher of the Year” competition. Analysis of a lesson conducted by a teacher in an unfamiliar class allows us to state the most common approaches to ensuring effective independent work of elementary schoolchildren.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"96 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139180649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The types of excursions conducted with first and second grade schoolchildren in accordance with the requirements of the Federal educational program in the subject “The World Around Us” are considered. The types of excursions are characterized: local history (social and natural history) and complex. In connection with the integrative content of the educational subject “The World Around Us,” preference is given to comprehensive excursions, since they allow children to be introduced to different objects, bring knowledge from different fields, that is, to form a well-rounded, informed personality. Particular attention is paid to the preparation of the teacher for the excursion, taking into account the age characteristics of the children, as well as the productive use of the observation method during its implementation.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"144 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139181557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the example of familiarity with the image of a hero - a bright hero of many ethnic groups that have long inhabited the territory of our country, the methodological features of the process of studying folk culture are revealed. Comparing the images of heroic defenders of their native land from invaders and enslavers allows us to trace similar ideological traits and behavioral stereotypes characteristic of the peoples of our multinational state, their aspirations for a peaceful life devoted to work and creation. These basic values testify to a long-standing and deep dialogue of cultures and bring younger schoolchildren closer to understanding the common historical destiny of the peoples of Russia, raising them to be citizens and patriots.","PeriodicalId":509094,"journal":{"name":"Primary Education","volume":"9 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139180747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
