Odesa is part of the Crimean Peninsula and it is a legendary port that has left its mark on the cinema, literature and the arts. Crimea has always attracted a large number of cultural figures including Alexandr Pushkin, Maxim Gorky, Anna Akhmatova, Ivan Bunin, Marina Tsvetaeva, Isaac Babel, Boris Pasternak, etc. Like the Russian-born Anton Chekhov, Ukrainian authors who have written about the peninsula were, historically, not native Crimeans. Crimea is not only the focus of geopolitical conflict, but also the source of artistic and literary inspiration. In this article, I analyze some perspectives on Crimea, starting with Ivan K. Aivazovsky’s paintings (1817-1900), and some selected texts from those of the above-mentioned authors. For a current view on Crimea, I shall also consider some aspects of Ilya Kaminsky’s contemporary poetry.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"103 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The texts in these cases become mediators between communicators, while at the same time representing a source of information. One of these areas is tourism discourse. The present study is an attempt to discover some ethnolinguistic elements of Turkish culture in tourist discourse such as names of tourist sites associated with legends and names of foods typical of Turkish cuisine. Specification of the concepts of ethnolinguistics, tourism and discourse, the place of ethnolinguistic elements of Turkish culture in tourism discourse and speech influence and interaction of communicants in close connection with practical human activity in tourism discourse.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"42 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The memoirs of the brigaders are used as a tool in the ideological arsenal of the Bulgarian Communist Party and confirm their important role in the communist power hierarchy and active participation in the mass anti-fascist organisations in the People's Republic of Bulgaria. The party-state leader Todor Zhivkov attracts the brigaders among the privileged ‘anti-fascist fighters’. The memoirs noted how important the topic (and the ideological legacy) of the Spanish Civil War was for the Party. The paper uses archival materials and periodicals to emphasize the need for a new reading of the historical issues that memoirs raise. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary links between history, literary theory, socio-cultural anthropology and folklore studies.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"51 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The survey went through several stages: 1) collection of preliminary information on the names of localities and toponyms in the area of the survey; 2) conducting a field survey during which accumulations of large unprocessed stones and a relatively large concentration of fragmented Old Bulgarian household ceramics were registered; 3) aerial photogrammetric survey of the terrain, as a result of which a digital elevation model and an ortho-photo plan of the area designated for study were produced. The contours of linear structures of artificial origin were clearly visible; 4) geophysical survey in four zones, which confirmed the proposals for the presence of anomalous zones; 5) vertical electric sounding with the aim of studying the stratigraphy of the object during which it was established that the structures probably develop at a depth of 0.80-1.00 m from the contemporary terrain. The results of the non-destructive archaeological survey in Dolnata Chatma locality, near the village of Velino, Shumen region show that linear stone structures develop on the flat terrace east of the village, probably part of a presumed archaeological object. At this stage, its scope, chronology and character are not clarified, and this remains a task for the team in future exploratory and subsequently regular archaeological surveys.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"9 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These changes, combined with the range of global crises and challenges that the world has been recently facing, warrant allocating the process of crisis communication greater scholarly attention. Against this background, a review of the crisis communication literature is herein conducted to identify the key features and emerging trends characteristic of the contemporary communication landscape and thereby contribute to informing future decision-making. The literature review unveiled the dynamic, complex, and mis/disinformation-dominated nature of modern crisis communication channels. Equally important, drawing on these observations, this research outlined two key recommendations for practitioners to upgrade their crisis communication practices and keep abreast of the changing media and information paradigms. On a theoretical plane, the article recommends a more practice-oriented approach to be adopted by future crisis communication studies, thus following a more prescriptive research agenda.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The argumentation is based on tracing intertextual connections between Gogol’s novel and \"the seasons” of the Russian monarchy with its scenarios and myths. The parallel “man/ruler – season” is used for analyzing the characters of Manilov and Korobochka and “the seasons” in their estates-visions of the state. The article also focuses on conceptualising Spring and Summer in the sentimental-romantic period, and in the Women’s kingdom and the Ideal village. The analysis confirms the existence of a conceptual layer in “Dead Souls” which is connected to the sentimental-romantic portrayal of the ruler’s power and its grotesque deformation.","PeriodicalId":508728,"journal":{"name":"Lyuboslovie","volume":"92 1-2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139184627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
