The formulation of the problem in this paper is: Why is legal protection needed for consumers as a Quasi Court from the Final Decision of the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK)? Meanwhile, the method used in this research is the normative method, using a statutory and analytical approach, then the legal materials used are primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Consumers are weaker in existence than business actors, because business actors often carry out actions that can harm consumers to gain profits, therefore consumers need to receive legal protection, even though UUPK has been formed to resolve disputes through the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency (BPSK), but the BPSK decision which is final and binding has not been fully implemented consistently as stated in the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK), because there is still an opportunity to submit objections for parties who object to the BPSK decision.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"60 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139229286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study delves into the intricacies of PAUD management implementation. Conducted at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea (GMIM), the research scrutinizes the management practices within the institution. The data collection employed a combination of documentation, observation, and interview methods. The evaluation of PAUD management yields insightful findings. Notably, observation proves to be an effective tool in fostering students' object recognition and social abilities. Several components constitute the management of PAUD at GMIM Betlehem Kindergarten Tataraan II. The meticulous planning involves formulating a vision, mission, and institutional objectives, creating a comprehensive academic calendar, developing yearly programs structured into semesters, and crafting weekly and daily activity plans. Despite these efforts, the program's yearly updates lack responsiveness to on-the-ground developments. Implementation faces challenges due to insufficient teaching staff, a consequence of the substantial number of students in each class. Evaluating student progress is crucial, with the research emphasizing two stages: learning assessment and progress reporting. The assessment incorporates techniques such as observation, performance demonstrations, and anecdotal records. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse, serving as a benchmark for educators to refine future teaching plans. In essence, addressing the complexities of PAUD management at GMIM Betlehem Kindergarten Tataraan II requires strategic planning, sufficient staffing, and a commitment to adapting programs based on regular assessments.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139231957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses a naturalistic qualitative method, where data collection uses techniques: participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that 1) the process of improving the quality at SD Inpres Kema III went through stages: first, evaluation and analysis of the implementation of learning in the previous academic year by the principal, second, preparation of a quality improvement plan based on the results of the evaluation of the implementation of learning in the previous year, third, presentation of the evaluation results in the principal and the new quality improvement program plan at the meeting at the beginning of the school year (attended by the teacher council and school committee), the fourth discussion of the work program plan for the new school year, 2) quality implementation is by the quality improvement plan. In the process, the school principal acts as a \"guardian\" for the harmonization of organizational performance. This role is carried out in the form of 1) ensuring student security by ensuring that the fence is locked so that no one comes in and out without the principal's knowledge, 2) monitoring the presence of teachers in teaching, 3) ensuring the creation of education without violence (harmonious education), 4 ) motivator for teachers, 5) liaison between schools and parents/committees, 6) as a monitor for program implementation, 7) director when there is an imbalance in the implementation of activities, 8) counselor for teacher problems at school. Apart from the role of school principals and teachers, environmental support has a strategic role in improving the quality of SD Inpres Kema III. Groups that play a role include 1) government, 2) school committees, 3) Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and 4) National Companies operating in North Minahasa Regency.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"289 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139244537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The trend is increasing with a high recurrence rate of up to 50% in 5 years, demanding a more sophisticated treatment for renal stones. ESWL is a treatment for less than 2 cm renal stones with good outcomes. Although ESWL is a technique with many advantages, many factors contribute to the outcome of ESWL with size and stones density as the most important factor. Oral dissolution therapy (ODT) has been used for decades and its effect on renal stones is beneficial to dissolve and prevent renal stones recurrence. The combination of ODT and ESWL is not yet recommended by current guidelines. The purpose of this systematic review is to summarize the latest evidence on the role of ODT in increasing the efficacy of ESWL for renal stones. The database used in this study are PubMed and Cochrane using keywords “urolithiasis”, “renal”, “shock wave”, “citrate”, and “oral dissolution therapy”. The outcome of the article sought is stone fragmentation after ESWL. 4 studies were included, and 3 compared the outcome between ESWL alone and ESWL combined with ODT. The outcome of combined therapy shows superior outcomes compared to ESWL alone with fewer sessions required for stone clearance or a higher chance for stone fragmentation. One study in children showed 100% stone clearance after ESWL with ODT, which was higher than the average success rate of ESWL in children with renal stones. Oral dissolution therapy may have a role in increasing the efficacy of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy for patients with less than 2 cm renal stones.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"237 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139250394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is because the counseling guidance is not running optimally. The data obtained were processed using descriptive analysis and quantitative statistical analysis. Quantitative analysis uses multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, but before the test is carried out, the validity and reliability tests are carried out first. The results of the regression analysis show that counseling guidance, parenting patterns of parents, and the school environment significantly affect students' learning independence with a positive product-moment correlation, this indicates an increase in counseling guidance, parenting patterns of parents, and the school environment will be followed by an increase in students' learning independence, vice versa. The results of the multiple regression analysis test showed a significant F value, with a correlation of 0.439. This shows that counseling guidance, parenting patterns of parents, and the school environment significantly affect the learning independence of students with a close relationship of 43.9%. Counseling guidance, parenting patterns of parents, and the school environment affect the learning independence of students in real terms, both individually and collectively. This shows that to increase the learning independence of students, it is necessary to increase counseling guidance, improve parenting patterns, and improve the school environment.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"38 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139262510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
