One facet of this reform is the adoption of the E-Kinerja application across all Regional Work Units, prompted by employees deviating from their assigned duties and functions. Consequently, the work outcomes lack effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability. This research aims to assess the E-Kinerja application's implementation at the Kuningan Regency Civil Service Police Unit Office, identifying supporting and hindering factors and exploring strategies to overcome obstacles. Utilizing a case study method with a descriptive qualitative approach, key informants, including the Head of the Kuningan Regency Civil Service Police Unit, and supporting informants from various State Civil Apparatus, were interviewed. Findings indicate that some dimensions, such as Capability (Timeliness), Efficiency (Policy Process Efforts), Responsiveness (Apparatus and Leader Response), and Accuracy (Impact for the Agency and Government), are relatively optimal. However, certain dimensions, including Effectiveness (Ability), Efficiency (Policy Implementation Process), Adequacy (Human and Non-Human Resources), and Equity (Goal Achievement and Transparency), fall short of optimal performance. Understanding the extent of the E-Kinerja application's implementation at the Kuningan Regency Civil Service Police Unit Office is crucial for refining the reform process. Addressing deficiencies in the identified dimensions will be instrumental in enhancing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of bureaucratic functions, aligning with the broader objectives of Bureaucratic Reform.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"166 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139198862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data for this study were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research's focal points include Attractions, Accommodation, Accessibility, Awareness/Promotion, and Amenities/Supporting Facilities. The findings reveal that the development of the Lasiana Beach tourist area has yet to achieve its intended goals, and its progress has not been optimal, primarily due to the absence of diverse arts and cultural events as attractions. The inadequate provision of accommodations such as homestays, cafes, and restaurants within the vicinity further hinders the area's development. However, commendably, the road accessibility is excellent. There exists a noticeable deficiency in promotional efforts, particularly through digital and non-digital media channels and events. Additionally, the absence of supporting facilities within the area diminishes its appeal to potential tourists. This inadequacy is largely attributed to the community's limited involvement in the development of the Lasiana Beach area. To realize the full potential of Lasiana Beach as a tourist destination, it is imperative for the community to actively participate in its development. Collaborative efforts can enhance the range of attractions, improve accommodations, intensify promotional strategies, and bolster supporting facilities, ultimately fostering sustainable tourism growth in the region.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current assessment tools for ongoing professional practice and work behavior lack clear, objective indicators and targets. This research uses research and development (R&D) research methods with a quasi-experimental posttest-only non-equivalent control group design. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and FGD. Expert validation and design improvements are conducted, followed by a trial involving 20 radiographers. Validity is tested using corrected items to total correlation, and reliability is assessed using Cronbach's alpha. Next, expert validation tests and design improvements were carried out by 3 experts, and then a limited trial of 20 RSUDAM radiographers carried out a validity test using corrected items to total correlation. Meanwhile, the reliability test uses Cronbach's alpha. The developed instrument, based on indicators and targets, demonstrates valid and reliable measures of radiographer performance. Expert validation through FGD confirms the instrument's effectiveness. Validity test results indicate significance (> 0.05), and reliability tests show Cronbach's alpha values (> 0.60). Normality tests reveal non-distributed data (p-value < 0.05). The Wilcoxon test, comparing old and new instruments, yields a significant Asymp.sig value (0.000) for the discipline variable, indicating improved performance assessment.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139200529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study employs a saturated sampling technique to ensure comprehensive participant representation. The research instrument integrates the well-established general self-efficacy scale (GSES), developed by Schwarzer and Jerusalem, and the homesickness questionnaire (HQ), crafted by Archer. Upon conducting data analysis using the Product Moment Pearson correlation technique, the study reveals a noteworthy correlation coefficient (rxy) of -0.671, accompanied by a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This statistical outcome signifies a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and homesickness in UKSW overseas students from Bitung City. Essentially, the findings suggest that heightened levels of self-efficacy are associated with diminished experiences of homesickness. Conversely, lower levels of self-efficacy are linked to increased homesickness among this student cohort. This research sheds light on the pivotal role of self-efficacy in influencing the emotional well-being of international students, particularly in the context of homesickness. The implications extend to the development of targeted interventions and support strategies aimed at enhancing the overall resilience and adjustment of overseas students. Future research endeavors may delve deeper into additional factors influencing homesickness and explore effective intervention strategies to bolster self-efficacy, thereby addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by international students.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"140 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139203729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Second, understanding the permanent legal force of constitutional court decisions is also related to the question of why it is not possible to have legal efforts to correct constitutional court decisions if errors occur in terms of achieving legal certainty. Based on this, the question also arises as to whether the constitutional court's decision regarding this error will continue or not. Third, it is related to whether the legislator (positive legislator) can override the decision of the constitutional court. What is the rationale underlying the granting of permanent legal force to a Constitutional Court decision from the moment it is pronounced in a session open to the public? This research is normative legal research because there is a legal vacuum if the constitutional court's decision is contrary to the spirit of the 1945 Constitution. The importance of immediacy in granting permanent character to the constitutional court's decision, if viewed from the law in book aspect, is indeed the best choice. This is based on the following reasons. First, the Constitutional Court was formed to protect the purity of the Constitution with a more detailed interpretation. This interpretation will be used as a basis for resolving problems by certain authorities who are given direct authority by the Constitution. Therefore, it is appropriate that the interpretation is only carried out once, which is binding so that the decision must be placed at the first and final level where no effort can be made to cancel it. Second, apart from that, it must also be understood that the constitutional court as a constitutional court can resolve problems and provide legal certainty quickly by the principles of fast and simple justice.","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"46 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139217755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The solid electrolyte industry has experienced significant growth in recent years. In 2020, the market size of the solid electrolyte industry was estimated at $17.8 million and is expected to reach $56.6 million by 2030 at a CAGR of 12.1% from 2021 to 2030. The growth of the solid electrolyte industry is driven by the increasing demand for batteries. Solid-state batteries are becoming a promising alternative to conventional lithium-ion batteries. This research produces tin phosphate nanoparticles through the synthesis of tin phosphate/GO with a modification of the Hummers reaction, using the GO template method which is used to control the morphology and crystal structure of the synthesized material, and calcined to remove GO and produce tin phosphate powder. The research results show that graphite milling time influences the size of the tin phosphate powder produced, and the size of the Graphene Oxide (GO) template also influences the size of the tin phosphate powder. Grinding time also affects the weight of the powder before and after calcination, as well as the amount of GO and tin phosphate produced. The graphite addition ratio also had a significant effect on the weight of the tin phosphate/GO samples before and after calcination. The ratio of adding 2 grams of graphite to 1 gram of tin produces an optimal weight of tin phosphate after calcination, indicating the effectiveness of using GO as a tin growth template. In addition, XRD analysis showed the identification of three dominant compound phases in the resulting powder, namely potassium ditin (IV) tris(phosphate(V)) (KO12P3Sn2), tin phosphate (SnP2O7), and potassium ferrate (FeKO2).","PeriodicalId":507389,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139232029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
