This study developed a novel formulation of AuNPs, named AuX2R, utilizing surface modification techniques to enhance biocompatibility and targeting capabilities for cancer treatment. The innovation of AuX2R lies in its simultaneous surface modification with polyethylene glycol (PEG) and lipidized peptides (pepducin), aimed at improving stability and cancer cell specificity. The study compared the stability of three different formulations of AuNPs in various solutions, indicating that PEGylation significantly increased nanoparticle stability, while the incorporation of pepducin enhanced their internalization and targeting towards cancer cells. This research not only provided a detailed analysis of the physicochemical properties and stability of the novel AuNPs but also investigated their internalization in prostate cancer cells, presenting new strategies for cancer therapy.","PeriodicalId":506830,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"46 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140257476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the concept of mRNA vaccines has just emerged in the 20th century, it has demonstrated its good availability during the COVID-19 pandemic. From this, researchers infer that mRNA also has great application prospects in other areas, and cancer immunotherapy has become one of them. mRNA vaccine used to have low translation efficiency and strong mRNA immunogenicity but recent research about mRNA sequence optimization could overcome most of these problems. But to apply this platform vaccine to target tumour cells specifically, the target chosen is very important and still needs a lot of research about it. This article reviews the current approach to mRNA vaccine and its therapeutic usage for cancer. Based on the current clinical studies, the mRNA vaccine might be a good auxiliary tool for cancer treatment.","PeriodicalId":506830,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"37 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140257535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These engines fueled the automotive and aviation revolutions. In contrast, the Stirling engine, patented by Robert Stirling in 1816, offered a unique closed-cycle operation. Engines, from steam to internal combustion, continue to underpin technological advancements, shaping economies, industries, and daily life. This paper comprehensively analyzes the development and significance of four major engine types: the steam engine, the internal combustion engine, the Stirling engine, and the turbojet engine. The analysis encompasses various aspects, including their principles of operation, historical contexts, and practical applications. The paper concludes that these engines have played pivotal roles in shaping human history and technological progress. From the steam engines impact on industrialization to the internal combustion engines revolution of transportation, the Stirling engines potential for sustainable power generation, and the turbojet engines transformation of aviation and military capabilities, each engine type has made a unique and vital contribution to our worlds advancement. This narrative of engine evolution reflects human ingenuity and our ceaseless pursuit of technological innovation.","PeriodicalId":506830,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"3 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140258744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
