References such as Brown (2008) on design thinking and the Oslo Manual (OECD, 2005) on innovation provide the theoretical basis. Collaboration is identified as essential to overcome challenges such as limited resources and insufficient organizational structures. \u0000Method: The methodology adopted involves an analysis of the dimensions of the Innovation Radar in 10 leading productivity companies in the Zona da Mata region of Pernambuco. The study uses a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and analysis of the companies' productivity indicators. \u0000Results and Discussion: The results indicate that effective collaboration between entrepreneurs, Local Innovation Agents (LIAs) and professionals from various fields contributes significantly to innovation in MSEs. The discussion contextualizes these results within the theoretical framework, highlighting how the ALI Productivity Program facilitates collaboration and innovation. Limitations of the study include the initial resistance of some companies and the need for ongoing support. \u0000Research Implications: Practical implications include the recommendation of collaborative strategies to foster innovation in MSEs, while theoretical implications reinforce the importance of design thinking and business collaboration. Impacted sectors include local commerce and industry. \u0000Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the importance of collaboration in MSE innovation, an area that has been little explored. The originality lies in the detailed analysis of the dimensions of the Innovation Radar and the integration of design thinking practices with collaborative strategies, offering a replicable model for other regions and business contexts.

Cassol et al., (2016) confirmed the mediating role of absorptive capacity in the relationship between intellectual capital and innovation and determined that there is a positive relationship between intellectual capital and innovation. \u0000 \u0000Method: The hypotheses and the model proposed have been tested with a quantitative explanatory research design that involves the application of a questionnaire. The technique for data analysis is SEM. The statistical software used was AMOS and SPSS version 24. The sample was composed of 127 companies. \u0000 \u0000Results and Discussion: Human capital was found to have a positive and significant effect on absorption capacity. A multiple PLS-SEM analysis is conducted to examine the interaction between firm transparency and IFRS adoption, and their combined effect on financial statement comparability. Data sources include financial reports and transparency indices over five years. \u0000 \u0000Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that while IFRS adoption alone improves financial statement comparability, the effect is significantly stronger for firms with higher levels of transparency. Transparent firms benefit more from IFRS adoption, as stakeholders find it easier to compare financial statements across different firms. The study highlights that transparency acts as a crucial moderating variable, amplifying the positive impacts of IFRS on comparability. \u0000 \u0000Research Implications: The results underscore the importance of enhancing firm transparency in conjunction with adopting IFRS to maximize financial reporting benefits. Policymakers and regulators in North African countries should focus on promoting transparency to support more effective financial reporting and decision-making. \u0000 \u0000Originality/Value: This research contributes to the limited literature on IFRS adoption in developing regions, particularly in North Africa. This requires data transfer from one software to another. To export the virtual model, it is necessary to generate the energy analytical model in BIM and use transfer protocols for BES software. Various studies have indicated failures in this process. \u0000Method: A case study was used to analyze the interoperability between the software programs, through a 58m² single-family residence. The geometric model was created with its dimensions and layers, input data such as location, thermal properties of materials, and usage data, generating the energy analytical model and exporting it to each BES software. Interoperability was tested based on data transfer analysis, establishing seven criteria. \u0000Results and Discussion: The results indicated failures in interoperability, as none of the software programs exported all the criteria correctly. The BES software with the best results was IES-VE®, with 70.90% of the criteria exported, followed by e-Quest® (65.45%) and DesignBuilder® (45.45%). \u0000Research Implications: The results of this study demonstrate that interoperability challenges limit the potential of the BIM/BES pair. \u0000Originality/Value: Despite studies on this topic, interoperability challenges remain, representing a gap to be filled.
