The wave of rejection continues to strengthen, raising questions about the process of political communication, conflict and negotiation, and political compromise between political forces in the DPR (Parliamentary Institutions). With a constructiveist paradigm and case study method, and supported by several theories from political science, political communication, negotiation theory, conflict theory, as well as several concepts regarding political compromise, the results showed that political communication in the discussion of the Job Creation Bill took place systematically by placing the authority of political parties as decision makers. Political conflict occurs due to inflexible negotiations. Political negotiations carried out through a principle-based negotiations approach, although it can accelerate the discussion process, is unable to guarantee the effectiveness of political compromise. The Job Creation Bill comes as an orthodox legal product and was declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court. Four things that become the findings of this research are (1) the dynamics of political communication are strongly influenced by the presidential-multiparty political system that produces majoritarian power, so that it has consequences for political alignments; (2) political conflicts that arise due to polarisation of political support have presented inflexible political communication, (3) principle-based political negotiations are pragmatically able to accelerate discussions but do not guarantee resistance/rejection by the public; and (4) political compromise through the stages of strategy development, relationship management, and decision making, cannot be a form of agreement that can accommodate all parties","PeriodicalId":505993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science","volume":"5 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140732947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a very significant impact on the Indonesian economy, starting from changes in world supply chains to a decline in foreign investment into Indonesia. Factors that affect a manufacturing company in determining its capital structure in the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic could be very different from when the Covid-19 pandemic had not yet hit Indonesia. Initially, the sample used in this study covered 193 manufacturing companies, but later 23 companies were excluded because of data outliers. The independent variables in this research are profitability, liquidity, asset structure and company size. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is capital structure. The collected data will be analyzed using multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. Profitability has a significant negative effect on capital structure. Sigit, Article Info","doi":"10.53625/ijss.v3i6.7634","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.53625/ijss.v3i6.7634","url":null,"abstract":"Pamulang University (Unpam), one of the private universities in the South Tangerang area, is established to meet the needs of the community by providing its own uniqueness and receiving very good interest. The uniqueness meant by that is the history of its founding to provide higher education for all people, especially for those people mentioned, the increase and large quantity of registered students, the availability of classes for students with disabilities, adequate lecture facilities, affordable tuition fees, and no building costs. One of the successes that has been achieved to date is the contribution of lecturers in implementing the tridharma of higher education. This is where the lecturer acts as an agent, actor, or agency, as known in Anthony Giddens' structuration theory. As a form of routine that produces social practice, the lecturer's tridharma must reflect humanist and religious values, including in the communication process within the university. These two values are in accordance with those stated in the university's vision, namely, \"To become a university ranked in the top 40 at the national level based on humanist and religious values by 2025.\" This article analyzes the relationship between agents and structures in the communication process based on humanist and religious values at a private university in South Tangerang. The research used a qualitative method with a critical theory paradigm and an interpretive phenomenological approach. The results show that Unpam is able to manage and strive to pursue its vision through the tridharma of higher education, with the contribution of lecturers who act as agents, actors, and agencies. The routine activities of agents form a duality of structure and are related by mutual influence and reciprocity (interplay) that reflect most of the implementation of both humanist and religious values. Forms of communication that are full of humanist values, such as when lecturers greet each other, provide non-differentiating classroom learning, and interact with students and the community in PkM activities, including coordinating work on research activities, Meanwhile, religiousness can be seen in the form of greeting words and sentences, praying before and after activities, religious attributes worn as characteristics, tolerance during worship, the formation of the Institute for Religious Studies, and also religious studies. On the other hand, the role of agents still needs to be optimized as gatekeepers and/or opinion leaders because, as educators, they provide role models, especially for students (predominantly from the marginalized and lower middle class) and also the general public. Meanwhile, the university needs to have an organizational culture to strengthen motivation for academics, direction, and foundation in behavior and attitudes, which can be taken from humanist and religious values, as well as the motto Sharing for the Country, alongside the implementation of a code of ethics, to help ","PeriodicalId":505993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science","volume":"56 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140733658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paradigm used in this research is constructivist. This research uses a qualitative approach which allows researchers to discuss the research in more depth. The novelty or novelty of this research is the Omnibus Short Film with the Theme Migration of Analog TV / Omnibus STB, as a medium for conveying messages to the public, has shown that the film is able to make the circulation of information through the socialization of the conversion of digital television broadcast technology, faster and evenly distributed in efforts to socialize the conversion of digital television broadcast technology. This means that it has completed Peter L. Aisyiyah is a women's organization that exists to support the government in various fields, one of which is the welfare of the people through the Economic and Welfare Council in developing and marketing food that has economic value as tourist souvenirs. The obstacle faced is the weak packaging design. Training and empowerment in visual merchandising design management was carried out for Aisyiyah residents in Karanganyar. Aisyiyah residents as a partnership network of lecturers under LPPMPP ISI Surakarta handle problems with training assistance from the design and postgraduate departments. The strategy chosen for empowerment is ecologically based, using the Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) Method. In this method, participants are invited to learn to understand the potential and awareness of maintaining environmental safety, and are able to build motivation for EcoDesign creativity. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method emphasizes participant involvement in being able to foster creativity related to the personal potential of traders, building creative interior design abilities, especially related to merchandise image. The results of the empowerment training consist of (1) participants' skills in analyzing packaging design needs for culinary businesses; (2) The creative results of merchandise packaging designs consist of snacks, side dishes, bags, batik in the concept of plastic wrap, paper, and environmentally friendly rattan bags and paper bags.
