Based on field investigations and motorized spindle maintenance records, a fault tree model of a motorized spindle was established, and the fuzzy importance of each bottom event was evaluated. The fault tree of a motorized spindle was used as a Monte Carlo reliability simulation model, and its importance was used as the input parameter for the simulation. The reliability evaluation index of the motorized spindle was obtained at different simulation times. The feasibility and accuracy of the reliability simulation were verified by comparing the importance and simulation importance. A vibration test was designed for bearing faults with high importance, and fault extraction was performed by combining the wavelet packet transform and empirical mode decomposition. Firstly, the dynamic performance and thermal-mechanical coupling characteristics of high-speed and heavy-load monorail crane under different braking parameters were analyzed. Secondly, the random response model of braking distance and braking temperature was established by combining the design of experiment method (DoE) and Dendrite Net (DD). Finally, the high-order moment saddlepoint approximation (SPA) method was used to evaluate the emergency braking reliability of the monorail crane. To solve the problem, a Bayesian-based reliability analysis method by fusing prior and test data is proposed, focusing on the mechanism kinematic accuracy under small-sample conditions. Firstly, a dynamic simulation model is established to collect prior data, and retraction tests are conducted to obtain test data. Then, based on Bayesian theory, the motion accuracy parameter estimation model integrating prior and test samples is established. To obtain accurate hyper parameters, the prior samples are expanded using neural network. Finally, taking the retraction mechanism as the research object, the kinematic accuracy reliability is quantified, and the impact of uncertainty factors is analyzed in depth. The approach introduces maintenance threshold error to establish a multi-stage maintenance-impact degradation model with dynamic maintenance threshold based on the Wiener process. This model considers the impact of maintenance on degradation rate, amount, and path. Moreover, by using the first hitting time (FHT) and introducing failure threshold error to reflect the dynamic behavior of the failure threshold, the formula for predicting equipment RUL is derived. The model parameters are estimated using both the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) approach and Bayesian formula. Therefore, it is essential to implement a monitoring system to ensure the proper functioning of suspension components, as a failure in any of these components can lead to accidents. Furthermore, monitoring the condition of the suspension system helps in maintaining its performance and minimizes maintenance costs. Traditionally, diagnosing faults in suspension systems has relied on specialized setups and vibration analysis. Alternatively, deep learning-based approaches for fault diagnosis in suspension systems offer a promising solution by enabling faster and more accurate real-time fault detection. This study investigated the use of vision transformers as an innovative approach to fault diagnosis in suspension systems, leveraging spectrogram images. Spectrogram images from vibration signals were extracted and used as inputs for the vision transformer model. Therefore, the development of prognostic models becomes very important for evaluating and predicting the replacement of traditional fuels with biofuels in internal combustion engines. The models have been made to model AVL 5402 engine emission, vibration, and sound pressure parameters using a three-stage statistical regression models. The fifteen parameters might be accurately predicted by a single statistic presented here. Both fuel type (diesel fuel and HVO) and engine parameters that can be adjusted were considered, since this analysis followed the symmetry of the methods. The data analysis process included three distinct steps and symmetric statistical regression testing was performed. The algorithm examined the effectiveness of various engine settings. Finally, the optimal fixed engine parameter and the optimal statistic were used to construct an ANCOVA model. The Wiener process with random effects is considered the degradation process model, which includes random effects to account for the heterogeneity among system units. Then, the extreme shock model with a dynamic failure threshold is used to depict the random shock. The copula function is carried out to illustrate the correlation between multiple degradation processes, the reliability model is constructed further. To verify the application of this model, a numerical case and a micro-electro-mechanical system comprising two micro-mechanical resonators are employed. The parameter sensitivity of the proposed model is analyzed. Improvement activities in this area require not only an appropriate maintenance strategy but also the use of a new approach to increase the efficiency of the process. This article focuses on using Six Sigma (SS) to improve maintenance processes. As an introduction, the generations of SS development are identified, and traditional and advanced analytical tools that can be useful in SS projects are reviewed. As part of the research, an example of the implementation of the SS project in the maintenance process using the DMAIC and selected advanced analytical methods, such as PCA and logistic regression, was presented. The PCA results showed that it was enough to have seven main components to keep about 84% of the information on variability. In developed logistic regression explained the impact of the individual factors affecting the availability of the machines. The composites were subjected to accelerated tests simulating a semi-annual influence of environmental conditions of an elevated temperature, precipitation in combination with an influence of UV-A radiation of 0.83 W/m 2 as well as cyclic thermal shocks causing a leap temperature difference of 116.5°C. The process of friction was conducted in conditions of dry friction and wet friction in the presence of water. The authors found a positive influence of a two-month impact of environmental conditions upon increasing wear resistance. They found a reduction in weight in conditions of friction with water. At the same time, a reliability analysis for the same boundary conditions showed an increased risk of critical composite damage. Therefore, on the basis of considering the Equal stiffness spring damping system of the column, the dynamic simulation model of the hydraulic support without clearance was constructed to study the static bearing capacity of the hydraulic support. Moreover, as per the contact model of the connecting pin clearance, the dynamic simulation model of the single-pin clearance hydraulic support was established. The effect of single pin clearance on the load of the front and rear columns of the hydraulic support and the transmission force at key bearing points was analyzed. Meanwhile, the influence of single pin clearance at different positions on the bearing capacity of the hydraulic support was compared.
