Therefore, the understanding of how limited hip movement and physical activity can affect performance and increase injury risk due to a lack of flexibility. Thus, this investigation determined the effectiveness of interventions, namely Flexor and Unilateral Exercises, in enhancing the hip-joint flexibility of the participants. The study involved 86 males and 80 females aged 15 to 18, utilizing a two-factor pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research design. Results indicated a significant difference in the pretest and posttest hip joint flexibility of the two groups, Flexor and Unilateral. Post-interventions, significant improvements in hip joint flexibility were evident in both groups. Additionally, the result revealed a noteworthy difference with a significant effect size between pretest and posttest flexibility measures for both the Flexor and Unilateral groups, emphasizing the effectiveness of each intervention. Notably, hip Flexor exercises yielded a considerably higher increment in hip range of motion compared to Unilateral exercises, indicating their superior impact. The two interventions distinctively and significantly enhanced hip joint flexibility, warranting further investigation into the nuances of hip joint range of motion and overall flexibility across genders. This exploration should include a thorough assessment of the intervention's efficacy for both men and women.","PeriodicalId":503935,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"28 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140436027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study determined the effectiveness of small-sided games and drill practice in enhancing forearm passing skills. A quasi-experimental design was employed, utilizing complete enumeration sampling. The sample consisted of 26 learners from each group who participated in small-sided games and drill practice. The interventions were carried out over six weeks, including the pretest and post-test phases. Given the vulnerability of the participants, who were kindergartners and first graders, all necessary ethical protocols were strictly observed. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests for independent samples, and t-tests for paired samples. The results show that both interventions revealed increased scores in their forearm passing skills from Fair to Good levels. Moreover, both groups demonstrated comparable effectiveness in improving passing skills in mini volleyball, with no statistically significant difference between the two. These findings suggest that both interventions can enhance forearm passing skills in mini volleyball, offering flexibility in training approaches without compromising performance improvement. Furthermore, further investigation into the specific elements of small-sided games and drill practice that contribute to skill improvement in mini-volleyball could be beneficial.","PeriodicalId":503935,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"72 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140439146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These two species receive support from development programs as they significantly contribute to the livelihoods of poor populations. Quails have been recently introduced, presenting technical and economic advantages that could contribute to the development of livestock farming. The study aimed to characterize the profile of stakeholders, conduct a techno-economic diagnosis, and suggest development prospects. Thirty-three farming units were surveyed in the cities of Bobo Dioulasso, Ouagadougou, and Orodara. The socio-demographic aspects of quail farmers, zootechnical aspects of quails, and challenges faced were analyzed.On the socio-economic level, the activity is predominantly practiced by young, educated men, exclusively with secondary and higher education. Zootechnically, the animal productions consist of eggs and meat. Quail production goals prioritize egg production, quail chicks (97%), fattening (76%), and breeder farming (48%).The feeding practices are inadequate, as all farmers (100%) were providing quails with feed intended for laying hens or broilers. Breeding quails reach sexual maturity at 6 weeks, with an average of 250 eggs laid per female and a high hatching rate. Quails also exhibit a high level of hardiness, easily adapting to their environment, and a high level of adaptation to climatic factors (85% of farmers).Quail housing exclusively consists of battery cages. Economically, live quail prices range from 1,500 to 3,000 Fcfa for breeders and consumption quails, and from 2,500 to 4,000 Fcfa for a tray of thirty eggs. Income levels varied from 184,470 to 28,642,945 Fcfa from quail sales. The revealed constraints primarily involve marketing, followed by the issue of inadequate feeding.","PeriodicalId":503935,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"61 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140478778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Management of various banking institutions in Nigeria relies heavily on information generated from the AIS employed by the firms. Moreover, quality reports are keys to arrive at an ideal investment and efficient way for reporting company financial reports and take optimal decisions. This study examined the impact of AIS Expenditure on the performance of selected NDMBs. Specifically, the study examined the of effect of Accounting Information System expenditure on net profit, returns on equity and investment of selected NDMBsThe study adopted ex-post facto research design and data was sourced secondarily from the audited annual financial reports of selected NDMBs listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group for the period 2007-2022. The population of the study consisted of fourteen (14) NDMBs and a sample size of seven (7) was arrived at using purposive sampling technique to select banks whose annual report and accounts are readily accessible in the study period. Analytical techniques used in the study consisted of both descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics employed includes minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation while panel regression analysis was used to test the study hypotheses. Result of panel regression revealed that among the variables examined, only Operating expenses (OPEX), was found to be statistically significant in explaining the variation in net profit. The variable exhibited a positive effect on net profit, with a t-value of 2.6643 and a p-value of 0.0347. The overall influence of all tested independent variables Operating Expenses (OPEX), Human Resources Expenses (HREX), Information and Communication Technology Infrastructure (ICTIEX) and Research and Development Expenses (RDEX) on dependent variable on Net Profit was Adj. R-Squared 0.6257. This indicates that a unit increase in AIS expenditure is associated with a corresponding increase in 62.57% in net profit. The study therefore concluded that Accounting Information System expenditure has effect on the performance of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria. It was therefore recommended that NDMBs should put mechanisms in place to aid further investments in the adoption of Accounting Information System.","PeriodicalId":503935,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"342 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140472537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
