As a result, a survey was conducted involving a heterogeneous sample of 332 consumers and their propensity to spend a surplus price was examined using a logit model. According to the study findings, consumers are willing to pay more for organic olive oil and this willingness to pay increases with age, education level, living in a smaller household, consumption of organic food and traditional sources such as producers, retailers and supermarkets. The empirical investigation demonstrates the convenience for farms of converting olive oil production from conventional to organic in order to fulfill customer needs. Companies are able to plan their medium-and long-term commercial activities when they can predict customer preferences. Indeed, consumer information may have a beneficial effect on the community as a whole due to the considerable quantity of positive environmental externalities associated with organic olive production.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"7 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139383163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study was to investigate the readiness of supplementary technical education teachers in Kazakhstan to employ distance technologies in developing schoolchildren's technical creativity during and after the pandemic. Furthermore, the study aimed to implement a professional development program to enhance teachers' preparedness. To achieve the goal of the study, the authors used theoretical analysis to assess teachers' readiness for distance technologies. When developing a professional program, the modeling method was used. Empirical methods, including student portfolios, curriculum assessment through peer review, and semi-structured interviews, were conducted in four regions of Kazakhstan in 2022-2023 with the participation of 30 technical education teachers. Results indicate that teachers with varying levels of experience initially exhibited differences in motivational, content-based, and procedural readiness. However, the Moodle program positively influenced these aspects for both groups. This study offered insights into the transformation of teacher readiness in supplementary technical education amidst evolving educational landscapes. The recommendations and outcomes can be applied to the systems of supplementary technical education for children in terms of organization, analysis, and sustainability of approaches to the creation of digital content.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"58 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139383525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study investigates the role of safety training as a mediator in the relationship between risk perception and safety behavior, as measured by compliance and participation in safety measures. The cross-sectional data from one big private hospital in Saudi Arabia was examined using the most recent iteration of Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS4). A 71% response rate was achieved on surveys that were personally handed out to 155 non-medical staff in hospitals. In this study, the significance level for Percentile Bootstrapping with a 95% confidence interval and p ≤ 0.05 was utilized to analyze mediation. Safety training served as a full mediating variable in the link between risk perception and safety compliance. Surprisingly, safety training did not act as a mediator in the relationship between risk perception and safety participation. This study fills a gap in the body of knowledge about non-medical staff's attitudes toward risk, safety training, and safety behaviors. Additionally, it helps us comprehend how safety training can help people perceive risks and behave safely. Considering that hospital management and safety officials receive high-quality training on safety concerns, more workers follow safety precautions, and the number of workplace accidents is reduced. The results of this study can be used as a foundation for future studies to enhance occupational safety practices.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139221903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their challenges are aggravated by their mental health condition, as they frequently suffer from depression, and yet they need to make informed decisions regarding their health without any limitation on access to health services. This study adopted a descriptive cross-sectional design using a quantitative approach. A sample of N=221 MSM aged 18-44 years old was recruited using a respondent-driven sampling technique (RDST). A structured, anonymous questionnaire was used to assess the mental health of the MSM. The online questionnaire data was entered into Excel and imported into Stata version 13.0 for analysis. The response rate was 92%. The findings of our study indicate that 46.61% of the respondents had mild to severe depression, while 53.39% did not experience depression. Contributing factors that lead the MSM to experience depression include their loss of respect in the community because they are MSM (p = 0.069), their families feeling ashamed of them (p = 0.068), and their experience of physical abuse (p = 0.006). Not being treated like other people in the health facility and in the community contributes to their not feeling that they belong (p = 0.250). The findings suggest that young MSM are at risk of developing depression and of being infected with HIV. The need has arisen to get more MSM to access health services and psychological support, since they are the most vulnerable key population.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139232269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A questionnaire survey was conducted among 120 college students who received outdoor expansion training for eight days and seven nights in Panlong Grand View Garden of Xiangtan City through the self-efficacy and professional competitive strength scales. The relationship between outdoor development training, self-efficacy, and professional competitiveness is statistically significant (r = 0.736, 0.821, 0.873, P < 0.01). Self-efficacy mediates outdoor training and professional competitiveness, with a mediation effect value of (0.339-0.537). Outdoor development training can directly affect professional competitiveness through self-efficacy. This study only takes the students of Hunan University of Science and Technology as the research object, and the representativeness of the student group needs to be improved. The questionnaire survey results are biased. The findings emphasize the value of outdoor development training. It is proven that outdoor development training not only has a direct impact on professional competitiveness but also has an indirect impact on professional competitiveness through self-efficacy. This study not only verifies the relationship between outdoor development training and professional competitiveness but also reveals the inner psychological mechanism of the influence of outdoor development training on professional competitiveness. Therefore, the results of this study can provide a theoretical basis for promoting college students' professional competitiveness.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"77 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139233516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, culture captured using Hofstede’s dimension is also included. This study covers a broader spectrum of Muslim countries in MENA and ASEAN. It used a sample of 82 Islamic banks with six years of data from 16 countries. The nexus between variables was tested using a fixed effect model. This study also employed robustness and sensitivity analysis. The empirical results show that the resilience of Islamic banks under market competitiveness plays a positive role in market share. Market competitiveness tends to lead to an increase in the level of market share; otherwise, diversification, capitalization, and credit risk are not found to influence. This study also finds that culture significantly positively affects market share. It demonstrates that the more individualistic the culture in a nation, the more likely the market share will increase. Based on the result, this study provides additional insight that the resilience dimension through Islamic banks’ competitiveness has the significant role in supporting the increase of market share. At the same time, culture is a considerable dimension in driving the improvement of market share.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139234259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is a scarcity of scholarly research on the sustainability of initiatives implemented through these modalities, and the existing measurement methodologies for sustainability are not well suited to this particular context. This study aims to elucidate the relationship between sustainability and the performance of online and distance education and proposes a composite sustainability index to assess these programmes. The methodology for constructing this index follows the stages outlined by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative techniques involve interviews conducted with a group of field experts in order to ascertain the prioritization of indicators. Data from these interviews is used to identify key indicators for further prioritization. The application of quantitative analysis involves the characterization of participants and the execution of calculations for finalizing, weighting, normalizing, and aggregating indicators, resulting in the creation of the composite sustainability index. This mixed-method approach is consistently applied throughout the index development process. The study yields a comprehensive sustainability index that assesses online and remote education programmes. It identifies 15 sustainability criteria corresponding to key sustainability dimensions and quality deployment pillars. The practical implications of these indices hold great significance, as they can provide valuable guidance to strategic decision-makers in enhancing current offers and shaping future policies and resource allocations for programmes delivered through online and distance education methods.","PeriodicalId":503776,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies","volume":"47 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
