The research in this article uses normative juridical research. Aims to describe and analyze the legal status of establishing a joint office by a civil partnership of notaries. Notaries can enter into civil partnerships to form a joint office as regulated in Article 20 of Law Number 02 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 concerning Notary Positions. Establishing a joint office can be convenient for notaries when opening a notary office, which requires expensive costs. However, there is legal ambiguity regarding the regulation of the legal status of the establishment of a joint office by a notary civil association, where there is a synonym for terms in article 20 UUJN, which equates notary civil partnerships with notary joint offices and civil partnerships in the Civil Code.","PeriodicalId":503133,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business, Law, and Education","volume":"115 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140359978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using panel data regression, this study analyses 412 observation units from 103 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2021. The results show that, partially, both governance and intellectual capital have no significant effect on financial performance. However, when the governance variable has interacted with intellectual capital and a moderation test is conducted, it is found that the interaction variable has a significant effect on financial performance with a positive coefficient. This indicates that intellectual capital acts as a pure moderator variable of the positive effect of governance on financial performance. This result implies that in the absence of high intellectual capital, governance proves to be inefficient in its efforts to improve the firm's financial performance","PeriodicalId":503133,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business, Law, and Education","volume":" 38","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140385024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study adopts a quantitative research design, aimed at discerning and demonstrating the influence of one variable on others. The study encompasses the entire workforce of Medan Adventist Hospital, totaling 372 individuals. Employing the Solovin-based sampling technique, a total of seventy-nine employees will be selected for interviews, ensuring proportional representation across sections. The research employs descriptive data analysis techniques alongside multiple regression analysis, incorporating T-tests (partial tests), F-tests (simultaneous tests), and determination coefficient tests (R2). The analysis tool utilized in this study is the multiple linear regression model. The findings of this research validate that individual leadership significantly impacts the performance of Medan Adventist Hospital employees, while individual organizational culture similarly exerts a notable influence. Simultaneous testing demonstrates that both leadership and organizational culture collectively affect the performance of employees at Medan Adventist Hospital.","PeriodicalId":503133,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business, Law, and Education","volume":" 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140383659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research will also prove the moderating effect of compensation on the relationship between Job Stress and co-workers on performance. The population in this study were 150 permanent nurses who worked at the Medan Adventist Hospital. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling, obtaining a sample of 109 respondents. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression with t-test (partial test), F test (simultaneous test) and coefficient of determination test (R2) as well as moderating analysis using residual analysis. The results of this study prove that Job Stress and co-worker variables simultaneously influence nurse performance. Partial testing proves that the Job Stress variable influences nurse performance, as well as the individual Co Workers variable influences nurse performance. Moderation testing using the residual test proves that compensation is able to moderate the relationship between Job Stress and coworkers on nurse performance. The implications of the results of this research are able to prove that the importance of Job Stress management and co-workers in improving nurse performance is strengthened by compensation.","PeriodicalId":503133,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business, Law, and Education","volume":" 401","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140383321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study utilized a quantitative methodology, specifically utilizing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), to examine data gathered from 235 individuals who represented a varied range of industries. The findings showed strong positive correlations: employee capabilities and compliance with legal requirements are both positively impacted by sustainable HR practices. Furthermore, compliance with government rules is positively impacted by staff competencies. With a Root Mean Square Error of Approximation of 0.06 and a Goodness-of-Fit Index of 0.92, the model demonstrated a decent fit. These results provide important new understandings of the complex interactions that exist in the Indonesian tourism industry between employee capabilities, sustainable HR practices, and regulatory compliance.","PeriodicalId":503133,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business, Law, and Education","volume":" 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140385508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
