When used as the photoactive cathode in a Zn//Cu-CAT@CC aqueous zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitor, it can convert and store solar energy in the electrodes. Under sunlight, at a current density of 1 mA cm2, the device's areal capacity reaches 0.162 mAh cm2, an 89.1% increase over the storage capacity without light. This not only opens up new areas for the application of Cu-CAT materials but also offers more possibilities for the development of aqueous zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"9 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141802123","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current detection methods are crude, using rudimentary pricking methods that require needles and being unconventional for continuous tracking, this strongly discourages people from early detection and management. Therefore, developing a non-invasive glucose monitoring technique is of utmost importance. The primary objective of this research is to address the limitations of existing glucose monitoring techniques through the development of nanomaterial sensors seamlessly integrated into wearable devices. A novel two-dimensional material, GeSe, is chosen for its flexibility and optical responsivity. Flexible polarimetric sensors are developed using a facile direct-transfer method. These sensors aim to provide accurate and non-invasive monitoring of blood glucose levels through measuring the light polarization after interaction with glucose molecules. To ensure reliability, the sensors are calibrated using glucose solutions with known concentrations. A machine-learning algorithm is developed to improve measurement accuracy. Rigorous testing of the nanomaterial sensors is conducted in comparison to traditional blood glucose monitoring devices, employing controlled studies that evaluated their effectiveness across different objects. This approach not only establishes the viability of nanomaterials in transforming health monitoring but also highlights their potential to significantly improve the accuracy and convenience of blood glucose monitoring for individuals managing diabetes. The integration of nanomaterial-based sensors into wearable devices represents a noteworthy stride towards enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare technologies.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"19 26","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The anterior extremity of these organisms is morphologically adapted into tentacle which are capable of retracting into the organisms body at a remarkable velocity when receiving external stimulation. This high speed relies on fan worms lubricant and strong vertical muscles. This adaptive behavior of tubeworms has served as an inspiration for the Long-term underwater detector robot. Despite the prevailing focus of extant research on the intrinsic characteristics of underwater sensors, such as precision and interactivity, there remains oversight regarding the preservation of high-value and inherently delicate sensors within subaquatic robotic carriers. In response to this lacuna, the paper proposes a novel device of an autonomous robotic entity designed to reflexively retract its sensory apparatus in reaction to environmental stimulation. The solutions presented are designed for long-term underwater robots which are subject to frequent external disturbances. The shell has been designed by means of a multilayer sheath structure of a fan worm and a retraction mechanism has been designed. Solidwork is used to model the robot and apdl is employed to simulate the strength stiffness of key structures. As a result of the modelling and simulation analyses, the possibility and practicality of this self-guarding robot have been determined. It is posited that the robotic apparatus harbors a potential for application in domains such as subaqueous surveillance, bathymetric resource exploration, and aquatic quality assessment. Prospective avenues for further scholarly inquiry encompass an augmentation of the investigation into the locomotive capabilities of the robot, alongside enhancements to its autogenic safeguarding mechanisms. These advancements may help to amplify the reliability of the device within severe and abyssopelagic conditions.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"20 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has showed that there are so many wonderful rural enterprises with the prosperous rural economy, but being lower level of urbanization developing in above areas. Most of farmers have to work in both towns and farms at different time. As result, it caused serious environmental problems for lack of the proper mode of urbanization. The farmers from these poor areas will face more challenges for surviving and improving their lives. It is supposed that the future development of urbanization will promote reasonable population and rural industries gathering from large cities to towns. At the same time, the clean energy and renewable resources should be further developed and used to avoid the continuous global environmental pollution and climatic deterioration. What the government and industrial planning departments need to do will be to build the platform of information industry for villages and towns, to promote resources to be integrated effectively and the industry upgrading fully. Therefore, the problems about development of urbanization will be solved gradually.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"23 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141802177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Robotic manipulators are used in various scenarios, such as industry and agriculture. It would be of particular interest to learn how to systematically design and control a manipulator to follow a planned trajectory. Hence, a CAD model is developed in this paper. There is a rough finite element analysis for two cases in this study, which could easily find out how the product reacts to real-world forces and vibration. In order to solve real-world problems safely and effectively, this effort intends to build the mechanical design of the manipulator by SOLIDWORKS and simulate trajectory tracking capability using MATLAB.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"112 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141802149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The solid model and finite element model of KRK bridge are established by ANSYS WORKBENCH 2023 R2. The model is a whole, not made up of multiple parts. Due to the limited finite element number of WORKBENCH, there may be some deviation between the model studied in this paper and the reality. The mass of the model used in this paper is consistent with reality. The modal analysis is carried out under the boundary condition that the bottom of the bridge column is fixed and the two ends are not fixed. The model does not shift in any direction. The aim is to find six modes that have their own natural frequencies and modal modes. The natural frequency of the model is obtained, and the resonance and collapse of the model are avoided during use.","PeriodicalId":502253,"journal":{"name":"Applied and Computational Engineering","volume":"33 40","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800500","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
