Results show that farmers shifted rice and sugarcane to fruits (freshwater) or shrimp (brackish or saline water). Resource-richer farmers tended to gradually intensify fruit or shrimp production for increased farm income, which would cause potential economic risks from disease outbreaks or unstable market prices of farm products. The poor capacity of farmers for farm management, financial resources, and information access are considered important constraints for adaptive agriculture production in the future. Thus, synchronous implementation of specialised policies at the local level through an economic sector approach through coordination between the management sector and localities is necessary.","PeriodicalId":494861,"journal":{"name":"Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135113760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

(so-called Bang in Vietnamese) is considered an important medicinal plant in folk medicine for the treatment of digestive disorders and other inflammatory conditions. This plant contains several medicinally essential components, especially the tannin group. This study evaluated a number of factors affecting tannin extraction from the leaves of sea almond tree with the help of response surface methodology (RSM). The factors used to evaluate are solvent concentration, solvent:material ratio (v/w) and soaking time (hours). Research results show that the highest total tannin content (TTC) is 1.54 mg GAE/g raw material, the optimal conditions are determined as follows: ethanol 54%, solvent:material ratio (S:MR) is 41:1 (v/w) and soaking time 2 hours. The experimental values (TTC=1.54±0.02 mg TAE/g raw material) show good agreement with the predicted value (TTC=1.54 mg TAE/g raw material). Experiments evaluating antibacterial activity show that the optimal extract of sea almond tree leaves has the ability to resist Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria. The results of this study could pave the way for the mass production of medicinal compounds containing tannins from sea almond tree leaves and improve the usage value of this popular plant.","PeriodicalId":494861,"journal":{"name":"Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam","volume":"19 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135168125","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the wastewater treatment process, air is forced by an air compressor into the biological treatment tank with high capacity, so, noise pollution often occurs during the system operation. This is affecting the health environment for workers, staff, and the surrounding population. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate and design a cover to reduce noise for the air compressor but not affect the operating efficiency of the device. The results in this study showed that after 30 minutes of continuous operation, the temperature around the air compressor increased by 2.5oC (from 29.5 to 32.0oC). The noise reduction is 4.0 dBA in case a polyurethane foam layer of 5 cm is used, and the noise reduction is 14.0 dBA if it is replaced with a mineral wool layer of 5 cm. The noise reduction is 17.0 dBA when combining the outer with a 5 cm polyurethane foam layer and the inner with a 5 cm mineral wool layer. Further, the noise reduction is reduced up to 24.0 dBA in case two layers of mineral wool (5 cm thick each) are used to form a homogeneous mass. Thus, using porous materials combined with mineral wool allows to reduce the noise level in accordance with the requirements of the QCVN 26:2010/BTNMT regulation (70 dBA).","PeriodicalId":494861,"journal":{"name":"Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam","volume":"26 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135169317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The monitoring system is employed on components that need to be monitored for heat generation, including switch contacts, busbars, and cable connections at switchgears or ring main units (RMUs). The basic impulse insulation level (BIL), or voltage spike tolerance, of the wireless SAW temperature sensor utilised in this study, means that it is not necessary to power it with sensors that meet the high criteria for equipment installed in closed cabinets or medium voltage cabinets. The research team’s activities in this study included software development, data transmission design and manufacture, and sensor selection.
