So that goal is reached it is necessary teach and develop competencies that support skills. This study is a preliminary study in the identification of the problems perspectives by teachers and high school students in learning chemistry. The method used in this study is a survey method using a questionnaire. Respondents consisted of 10 teachers and 22 students senior high school in Bandung. From the results of the survey the problems perspectives by the students, interest and motivation in learning chemistry students is still low. It can be seen from the student questionnaire (question 1,2,3, and 4). In addition to low literacy student chemistry can be concluded from the results of the questionnaire related to the learning habits of students in applying chemistry in everyday life, 59, 1% sometimes, 27.3% often, 9.1% and 4.5% always never. From the survey results the authors focus on three main issues in teaching chemistry ie, level of difficulty of the material, the selection of teaching and learning context model of chemistry in everyday life is not always delivered on the learning process. Teacher as a key component in education need to be equipped with a good understanding and skills to implement learning that can develop chemistry student literacy. Knowledge is always evolving as the development time, teachers are required to continually update the scientific study. Difficulties experienced teachers is the failure to trigger the birth of learning in students and led to the view that chemistry is a difficult lesson. Based on the results of the survey above, learning will be more meaningful if using social-scientific issues that are relevant to the material being taught in order to achieve educational goals.","PeriodicalId":492154,"journal":{"name":"JISAE (Journal of Indonesian Student Assessment and Evaluation)","volume":"10 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135725040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research samples were taking from some Cambodian, Vietnamese, Myanmar, Laos, Chinese and Thai Students. At this time mainly the research was concentrate with the Thai students at Rajamanggala University of Technology Wangklaikangwon Campus. As we know exactly their language uses their own characters in writing words which are completely different from Roman Alphabets. They also apply different phonological system. This certainly causes problems for Thai students to learn English, particularly in reading aloud and listening comprehension. This research focused in reading classes in Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Thailand and aimed at identifying problems in reading aloud encountered by the students and how self- assessment is conducted and feedbacks may be delivered. Data were derived from the students self- assessment of reading in which they were assigned to record their reading aloud. In this line, a phonetic transcription of some key words from the recorded texts were made and used in the self-assessment. Further, this data were compared to that of teacher’s summative test. In comparing the data from both measurement, Pearson Product Moment was applied to see the correlation.","PeriodicalId":492154,"journal":{"name":"JISAE (Journal of Indonesian Student Assessment and Evaluation)","volume":"11 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135725033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To further this project, a student motivation strategy was attempted to take the place of their not having to fear for top marks. The results were sixfold: (1) the results of student work were well above average; (2) student work reflected teacher expectations; (3) student enthusiasm was well above average; (4) the instructor needed to use enthusiasm and humor to maintain discipline; (5) the instructor needed to parse the assignments so that the work would be done; (6) the administration was unhappy with the resulting data analytics. Based on this case study, one can confirm that student outcomes are highly dependent on teacher expectations and strategies; and that formative (not evaluative) assessments can be used effectively to raise the level of student learning.","PeriodicalId":492154,"journal":{"name":"JISAE (Journal of Indonesian Student Assessment and Evaluation)","volume":"9 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135724880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The CIPP evaluation model focuses on 4 aspects, namely Context, Input, Process, Product. The type of approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of this study show that based on: (1) Context evaluation is still not optimal, because the involvement of Sociology students only ranges from 15% of batches 1-4 and in batch 4, especially the class of 2020, there are only 4 students who pass the Independent Internship program. Then the vision, mission, and objectives of the Sociology study program are considered to be in accordance with the objectives of the implementation of the Independent Internship program. (2) Input evaluation has been going well, due to the availability of human resources, facilities, and budget funds that are well met. Preparation for the implementation of the Independent Internship has also been well prepared by the Sociology study program and the company, and has had good quality human resources and are competent in their fields. (3) The evaluation process has run well, because it is supported by the study program and participants also have a high level of satisfaction with the Independent Internship program, both from experience, mentors, nor work. Then the effectiveness of excellent mentor assistance makes participants have no significant obstacles in the registration process until the internship program ends. (4) Product evaluation has also been carried out well, because this Independent Internship program can significantly improve the abilities and skills of participants. In addition, participants gain direct work experience and are actively involved in the company, so that participants get professional relationships and clear career paths.","PeriodicalId":492154,"journal":{"name":"JISAE (Journal of Indonesian Student Assessment and Evaluation)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135865589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
