Genocide of Anfal and Yazidi Kurds as Examples), attempts to present the concept of genocide as one of the most serious crimes against humanity, committed by oppressive regimes and extremist parties with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. This paper presents the process of genocide and its stages of implementation based on the theory of international genocide expert Gregory H. Stanton and shows the most important policies and mechanisms of genocide against the Kurdish people in Iraqi Kurdistan and in the region. This paper also attempts to discuss the international efforts to combat the crime of genocide, especially by the United Nations, as well as the most important mechanisms and measures that can be followed to prevent the occurrence or repetition of genocide. The scope of the study consists of the strategic planning of the mission of the Media Center in the Ministry of Peshmerga; Within the framework of the case study descriptive method, this was done through the interview and observation tool for the media tasks of the media center of the Ministry of Peshmerga. In light of the situation of the war media in the Ministry of Peshmerga, the researcher presents three measures as strategies to address the challenges facing the task of the war media in the Ministry of Peshmerga, which are: Media, legal, and human resource measures. The researcher concluded that the media center in the Ministry of Peshmerga needs to develop a comprehensive strategy to identify a roadmap for implementing the tasks of the war media and control the dissemination of news, information, and images of the battlefields. Therefore, This research recommends that the relevant parties in the Ministry of Peshmerga develop a comprehensive strategy considering the innovations in the tasks of the war media. The poor level of participation of the Public Relations Department in the performance of media tasks in media institutions, and most of its focus on information tasks, reception and communication with guests.2 . Several researchers have debated and investigated its influences and effects on student learning, and different types of feedback have proven to be effective in improving writing skills. Although there is much research on this topic and in different EFL/ESL contexts, there are no studies on Iraqi Kurdistan Region lecturers’ perceptions of WCF and its types. It is essential to investigate this topic and contribute to this line of research, given that it appears that no studies have accounted for lecturers’ perspectives in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. This study, therefore, aimed to examine the perception of 30 EFL lecturers in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in higher education institutions to understand their beliefs regarding WCF and the types of feedback used and found important to give to English language students. A questionnaire was used to collect data for this investigation that was delivered electronically. Statistical and qualitative analyses were conducted to provide a comprehensive understanding of the lecturers’ responses to the survey. Results showed that the majority of lecturers use WCF and believe it is useful for their students. Lecturers use several types of WCF depending on the context and their students’ level of proficiency. The study concludes that lecturers’ responses align to a large extent with the literature available, including their agreement on the effectiveness of WCF in enhancing students’ writing skills. The study also provides recommendations that can be useful for EFL lecturers and researchers in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and other similar contexts to improve their practices related to WCF. Though it was difficult at that time to print their writings in Kurdish and mostly they denied to print their poems, So The kurdish poets and writers obligely they had written poems with the language of the colony countries.
