In recent years, with the proposal of the rural revitalization strategy, how to implement this policy in Guangdong and ensure that it is combined with sustainable development has become the focus of the academic and practical circles. This study aims to deeply explore the current situation of sustainable development in rural areas in Guangdong Province and the practice and synergies of rural revitalization policies. Through a literature review and empirical analysis, we systematically reviewed the historical evolution, current situation and challenges and problems encountered in Guangdong in practice. It is found that in the process of promoting rural revitalization and sustainable development, Guangdong province has successfully combined the two, and achieved significant economic, social and cultural benefits. But at the same time, it also faces some challenges, such as ecological and environmental protection and farmers' income gap. The conclusion points out that Guangdong's exploration provides valuable experience for other regions, but also emphasizes important issues to be addressed in future research and policy making. The innovation of this study lies in the first in-depth discussion of the synergistic effect of rural revitalization and sustainable development in Guangdong, which provides a new perspective and thinking for the research in related fields.","PeriodicalId":491607,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in business, economics and management","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134905706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, research shows that a significant number of these deals do not pan out well thus introducing an element of risk. With Tesla geared at maintaining its position as a leader in the renewables market, its acquisition of SolarCity in 2016 is worth appraising. With quarterly data from Tesla, the study employs a mixed approach to ascertain the changes in various aspects of financial risk for the company. Results show that liquidity risk and solvency risk characterize Tesla’s post-acquisition period. This is further corroborated by insights from the profitability ratio analysis. As much as Tesla’s seems to be generating steady cash and posting high returns on its equity, the high lever is what seems to be playing a significant role. However, the silver lining in Tesla’s case is that the solvency ratios appear to be improving over time.","PeriodicalId":491607,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in business, economics and management","volume":"23 05","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134905707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Derived from the broader concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Green HRM promotes environmentally friendly behaviors and sustainable use of organizational resources. By fostering a culture of sustainability and social responsibility among employees, Green HRM aligns with the principles of 'soft HRM' and positively impacts employee job satisfaction and organizational social evaluation. This paper examines the link between Green HRM practices and their impacts through literature review and case studies, highlighting the significance of adopting green management concepts in today's competitive environment. Case studies of Nakilat and Ctrip.com demonstrate how Green HRM positively influences environmental performance, job satisfaction, and social evaluation. Despite challenges, the adoption of Green HRM remains essential for organizations aiming to achieve sustainable development and responsible resource management, thereby contributing to a greener and socially responsible future.","PeriodicalId":491607,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in business, economics and management","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134905777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we select investment events in East and Central China from 2005-2019, and use the Yangtze River Delta integration as a natural experiment to test the effect of integration policies on the promotion of basic innovation by VCs by applying a multi-period DID model. The study finds that: (1) regional integration enhances the level of basic innovation of VC-intervened firms; (2) regional integration policies shorten the institutional distance between VCs and invested firms' cities, which in turn enhances the promotional effect of venture capital on the basic innovation of firms; (3) under the background of regional integration, the growth of basic innovation of state-owned VC-intervened firms and strategic emerging firms is more significant than that of private VC-intervened firms and traditional firms; (4) the growth of basic innovation of state-owned VC-intervened firms and strategic emerging firms is more significant than that of private VC-intervened firms. emerging firms have faster growth in basic innovation. The exponential smoothing method, also known as an exponentially weighted average method, is a forecasting method with the advantages of a clear process and convenient calculation. In this paper, the literature method is used, and \"gross domestic product\", \"GDP\", and \"exponential smoothing method\" are used in various databases and literature review websites, \"Macroeconomics\" and \"forecasting\" as the keywords to search, comb the literature, categorize and summarize the application of exponential smoothing method in GDP forecasting, and at the same time, the experimental method is used to design an experiment to forecast the future growth of GDP in the next three years by using the data published by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBSC). The results of the experiment are that the value-added of the primary industry is expected to continue to grow from about 9227.246 billion Yuan in 2023 to about 100139.20 billion Yuan in 2025. The value added of the secondary industry is projected to continue to grow from about 510,795,800,000,000 Yuan in 2023 to about 563,968,676,000,000 Yuan in 2025. The value added to the tertiary sector is projected to continue to grow from about 679,630.84 billion yuan in 2023 to about 753,204.88 billion yuan in 2025. Correspondingly, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will continue to grow, from about 1,281,982,888 million yuan in 2023 to about 1,417,312,284 million yuan in 2025. By analyzing the forecast results, it can be seen that all three major industries in China will maintain growth in the next three years. Depending on the different attributes of the three major industries, the government or enterprises will take appropriate measures to ensure the growth of the industries as well as to cope with various risks. This forecast is based on past data, but the actual economic situation may be affected by many external factors such as the international trade environment and the global economic situation. Governments and businesses will therefore need to pay close attention to these factors in order to adjust their strategies in a timely manner.","PeriodicalId":491607,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in business, economics and management","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134906071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Subsidies are regarded as an important economic intervention tool that can solve many problems of market failure [1]. But for the size of the government subsidy amount can significantly affect the performance of enterprises? Based on the panel data of China's new energy vehicle (NEV) enterprises from 2018 - 2021, this paper investigates the impact of government subsidies on enterprise performance.  Green finance is essential to achieve the goal of \"Emission peak and Carbon neutrality\" and high-quality economic development. In the context of the \"Dual Carbon\" target, this paper examines the impact of the implementation of the \"Green Credit Guidelines\" on the green technology innovation of listed companies in strategic emerging industries using the Difference-in-Differences (DID) model. We find that the implementation of green credit policy has a significant effect on the \"width\" and \"depth\" of green innovation of listed enterprises in strategic emerging industries. After a series of robustness checks, the results still hold. The heterogeneity analysis shows that the implementation of green credit policy has a stronger incentive effect on green innovation of non-polluting enterprises than that of heavily polluting enterprises, and that the intensity of the incentive effect of green credit policy on green innovation shows a decreasing phenomenon of \"high middle and low\" in the Eastern, Middle and Western regions. The results of the study are important for the improvement of the green financial policy system and the development of green technology innovation.","PeriodicalId":491607,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in business, economics and management","volume":"64 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135012196","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
