The research approach is qualitative, and the data produced in the investigation is based on the video, on interviews, and on discussion forums. We reflect on spontaneity, the classroom, and the use of digital technology, creating a link between the spreading of seeds and the possibility of exploring this technology in public schools to stimulate students to produce mathematical knowledge through videos. In this sense, when we became aware that our reflections touched the sensibility of the teacher, we oriented the investigation to the product of his experience in the light of multimodality. We conclude that this educational actor, guided by “playfulness” and “valid information”, harmonizes semiotic resources of language, mathematical symbolism, and visual demonstration when producing meanings in his discourse.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. Thus, it highlights Cinema as a popular cultural and pedagogical technology, currently through streaming. In addition, it dialogues with the possible crossings, interweaving and connections with the critical, political and social dimensions of educating through mathematics, so that these cinematographic products can contribute to the planning of mathematics lessons. In this way, we focuse mainly on transphobia as a theme of exclusion/inclusion and reveals pedagogical connections that can be articulated in the mathematics classroom, for example, the debate about the idea of transformation, coming from and interrelated to the prefix trans (from transgender, transsexual, and that refers to the way of being transvestite), in interrelation with the concept of geometric transformation, aiming to constitute/understand the social responsibility and the political hexis that we must discuss/problematize in educational spaces.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. As methodological resources and source of information, teachers and students were consulted through an intuitive command to identify difficulties/concerns and possibilities with respect to development actions in the period called Emergency Remote. This investigation was qualitative in nature, as I understand that I deepened the understanding of the social group in question and its trajectory does not require quantification. The information was processed in the light of the Philosophy of Mathematics Education, Critical Mathematics Education and Digital Technologies in Mathematics Education. The quality of the students' internet and the possibilities for evaluating students by teachers represented the greatest difficulties encountered during the pandemic. representaram as maiores dificuldades encontradas no momento pandêmico.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. Adopting the qualitative methodology, the research was developed with students of the Analytical Geometry discipline and the participant observation in forums of the virtual learning environment was used in the monitoring of the video productions by the participants. Functional Systemic — Multimodal Discourse Analysis supported the analysis of the strategies used in the combinations of semiotic resources in the produced videos. In this article, the analysis of one of the videos produced in the research is discussed. As a result, it was found that the multimodal nature of the video encourages the use of contextualization in the construction of digital mathematical discourse. However, the concepts are formalized from a recontextualization referring to the classroom, which shows the influence of the experience in this environment in the construction of the mathematical discourse shared in the online environment in the context of this research.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. It was developed in an online course aimed at in-service teacher education. Its scenario was a modelling practice in which a problem is proposed through a digital video (modelling videoproblem) and the participants are challenged to produce a video as an answer (modelling videoresponse). This is qualitative research based on the theoretical perspectives of the humans-with-media construct, Activity Theory, and Social Semiotics. The results point out that the way of combining semiotic resources in the videoproblem scenes influences the production of meanings and the modelling, and that the underutilization of resources of this media can limit educational possibilities. Furthermore, from the combination of different theoretical approaches, new theorizations emerge to be explored in future investigations.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. When analyzing the data, the discursive aspects, the modalities of dragging points and the categories of signs present in the process of semiotic mediation are considered. The first episode involves the use of the square grid in a task on congruence of triangles, and the second one, a task on the similarity ratio from a slider. The data make it possible to conclude that the thought processes related to the use of the checkered grid were limited to the exploration of more global properties and relations of ascending aspect, while those related to the use of the slider may represent a more potent form of thought process, which implies both the global observation of properties and the validation of conjectures.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. Using Design-Based Research cycles, documents and video recordings were collected throughout the course of the classes. Data were analyzed in order to interpret how future teachers mobilize School-Related Content Knowledge and how teacher educators generate professional learning opportunities for them. The results indicate the possibility of approaching academic mathematics in specific-content disciplines of the teacher education, focusing on teacher training and the changes that future teachers’ knowledge may undergo during training. It is concluded that the use of resources that explore connections between academic and school mathematics, as was the case with formative tasks, seems to be a way to promote mathematical and didactic discussions in the teaching degree.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. The guiding question of the study is: how does Sangiorgi change the proposal of a deductive geometry for the 3rd grade of junior Brazilian high schools in the modern collection compared to the pre-modern collection? Postulates, theorems, and demonstrations are examined in detail, emphasizing the quantitative and qualitative aspects, as well as the methodological recommendations. This analyzes shows that the modern collection brought about significant changes and contributions both in the scope of Euclidean geometry, of a geometry to teach, and in the methodological didactic aspects by proposing the insertion of exploratory and experimental exercises, different registers of representations, which means, in our point of view, a geometry for teaching, which can be interpreted as an intuitive geometry, taken from the 1st and 2nd grades of the Brazilian Minimum Program of 1951.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM.
