Third, 4th and 5th grades students were asked to solve multiplication and division problems (Problem-Solving Task) and to answer questions about the statement of the problems (Problem-Understanding Task). For the three school years it was easier to understand what needed to be found in the problem (literal information) than to understand which operation and which numbers to use in the resolution of the problem (inferential information). Although performance in the three school years was limited, relationships were identified between understanding the word the problems and the ability to solve them. Understanding what needed to be found and identifying the relevant numerical information had a positive impact on solving the problems, and it was more significant than the ability to identify the appropriate operation to be applied.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. It can be categorized as qualitative research, which was carried out at a state public school in the metropolitan area of the city of Belém, in Pará, Brazil, with the collaboration of a teacher and his students in the first year of high school. When we focused on the didactic memory of a teacher and their classroom’s memory, the practices we observed evidenced didactic phenomena linked to the didactic contract and the milieu, revealing different types of memories that mobilize cultural knowledge and situated knowledge. It is emphasized the ostensive didactic memory because it allows us to have a fluid learning process of mathematical objects in the school context.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. To do so, we bring the analysis of three videos entered in a festival and the speeches of their producers in a questionnaire and a group interview. It deals with an excerpt from an Art-Based Educational Investigation, which adopted A/r/tography as a qualitative research methodology and, as a theoretical reference, the notions of Human-Beings-With-Media were used as a knowledge producing unit, Art as an aesthetic experience and the estrangement effect of the Didactic Theater Theory. As a result, similarities were observed, in the didactic functions, between theater, cinema and the analyzed videos, such as the interdisciplinarity of contents, the multimodality of languages and humor, culminating in the idea of using videos as a form of evaluation.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. The qualitative empirical study aimed to analyze and discuss pedagogical and exploratory conditions of the LO built in the GeoGebra software. Data were collected from the participants through activities created and shared in the LO, field notebook annotations, observations, records and description of representations. In the organization and analysis of data, the categorization was used. The theoretical framework encompasses reflections on policies for Initial Teacher Training, in interaction with digital alternatives, study of graphs and mathematical visualization. The results suggest that LO, mediated by digital technologies in Mathematics Degree, promotes discussions and reflections regarding future pedagogical possibilities of representation, creativity and construction of mathematical thinking.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. The objective of this article is to reflect on the teaching practices of the participants of a training course in the process of adaptation to Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) and on the contributions of Cybereducation in this process. The course took place at IFSP/Hortolândia (SP) and was adapted to ERE. Narrative research was adopted and focused on the participation of three teachers in a task that involved the production of a mathematical activity with video. Data analysis was anchored in the assumptions of Cybereducation and cultural practices, in the light of complexity. The training actions based on Cybereducation contributed to the organic dynamics of a complex system and to the process of (re)constitution of the participants' teaching cultural practices.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. Thus, we base ourselves on the humans-with-media system and on qualitative research, whose sources and data production instruments were: field notes, questionnaires, audiovisual recordings, and student handouts. We analyzed the data through the method of analytical induction considering the analytical tool of minicyclones of expansive learning. The results indicated that minicyclones of expansive learning occur with expansion movements — questioning, criticism, and relationships between mathematics and society — at certain times and retraction movements — structured tasks and ready-made answers — at others. We conclude that thinking about approaches to break with the stable pattern of teaching and learning mathematics is something complex.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM. This context reveals simulation as the new way of knowing the world through three modeling methods: discrete events, agent-based and system dynamics. Convergence culture was used as a selection criterion, resulting in AnyLogic software as the only authoring tool capable of simultaneously performing these three types of modeling. To analyze it, we built an object that simulated the availability of care in a hospital during an epidemic. The results point to a code block programming culture in AnyLogic when creating the LO. In the simulation, we observed that depending on the number of vacancies in the hospital, we have the severity of the disease and, consequently, the level of concern of those infected, compatible with the situation of the epidemic.","PeriodicalId":488718,"journal":{"name":"RIPEM.
