A project implemented by Women for Women International with funding from USAID. The specific objectives of this study are: to assess the effect of risk identification on the performance of the TWICECEKA project in Huye; to establish the effect of risk analysis on the performance of the TWICECEKA project in Huye District; to assess the effect of risk response and planning on the performance of the TWICECEKA project in Huye District; and to assess the effect of risk monitoring and control on the performance of the TWICECEKA project in Huye District. The researcher adopted theories of change, constraints, and goal-setting in order to achieve the objectives. The researcher used a census survey. The sample size was 200 respondents, all targeted populations included. Questionnaires were used to collect the primary data for this study. Secondary data were also used to conduct the study. The questionnaires are comprised of both open-ended and closed-ended questions. The questionnaires were piloted first to determine instrument reliability before distribution. The questionnaires were administered through the drop and pick later method. The findings of the study were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. SPSS was used to analyze the data using descriptive statistics. The model summary revealed the R Square of 0.625, indicating that approximately 62.5% of the variance in Twiceceka Project performance can be explained by the predictors. The significance level is less than 0.05 (p < 0.05), indicating a highly significant relationship between the predictors and the performance of the Twiceceka Project. The coefficient for risk identification (β1=0.353, p<0.05). The coefficient for risk analysis (β2= 0.501, p<0.05). The coefficient for risk response planning (β3=0.425, <0.05). The coefficient for risk monitoring and control (β4= 0.297, p<0.05) indicating that there is effect of risk identification, risk analysis, risk response planning, risk monitoring and control on performance of the Twiceceka Project. The null hypotheses H01, H02, H03, and H04, which stated no significant effect of the respective risk management practices, can be rejected based on the low p-value (<0.05). It is recommended to focus on enhancing the depth and quality of risk analysis within the Twiceceka Project. Specifically the study guided by the following objectives to find out the effect of scope planning on performance of flood management in the volcano region project in Musanze District, determine the effect of cost planning on performance of flood management in the volcano region project in Musanze District, investigate the effect of human resource planning on performance of flood management in the volcano region project in Musanze District and assess the effect of risk planning on performance of flood management in the volcano region project in Musanze District. The population of this study was 328 people including Project staff, District staff, Sector staff in surrounding volcanoes and flood management in the volcano region project beneficiaries’ representatives. This study used a sample of 180 participants which chosen using Slovin’s formula. The researcher relied on document analysis, questionnaires, and interviews in collecting data. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) used in the study. Descriptive and inferential statistics used to analyse data. The R value of 0.849 indicates a strong relationship between the predictors and the outcome variable. The R Square value of 0.721 indicates that approximately 72.1% of the variability in the outcome variable can be explained by the predictors in the model. Specifically, Scope planning has a coefficient (β= 0.444, t=7.388, p value=0.000), Cost planning has a coefficient (β= 0.363, t=4.533, p value=0.000), Human resource planning has a coefficient (β= 0.419, t=3.192, p value=0.002), and Risk planning has a coefficient (β= 0.333, t=2.494, p value=0.002). All these coefficients are statistically significant on performance of flood management in the volcano region project in Musanze District, as indicated by their associated Sig. values below 0.05. Flood management in the volcano region project should focus on strengthening its definition and control processes for scope changes. This will help in clearly defining and managing alterations to the project's objectives, activities, and deliverables, ensuring a more efficient and successful flood management project. The specific objectives of this research comprised to assess the effect of community participation on performance of Nasho Irrigation project in Rwanda, to examine the effect of livelihoods of farmers on performance of Nasho Irrigation project in Rwanda, to determine the effect of capacity building on performance of Nasho irrigation project in RwandaThis is descriptive research in terms of its design, which used the quantitative method alone with quantitative data that was collected with the help of a questionnaire and interview guide. For the case of this research, the target population was comprised by 246 registered members of Nasho irrigation project stakeholders, giving 148 respondents as sample size as per the attached Krejcie and Morgan (1970) table in the appendices. This study used both simple random and census method to select 148 respondents who had equal chance to participate in this study by providing quantitative data regarding agricultural community engagement and performance of Nasho Irrigation project. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS version 22 to perform inferential statistics such as correlation and regression analysis, and descriptive statistics such as SD and mean were used. The findings of this study focused on the effect of community participation, farmer livelihoods, and capacity building on the performance of Rwanda's Nasho Irrigation project. Descriptive statistics indicated a positive perception among respondents, with mean scores ranging from 4.417 to 4.637 for capacity building, 4.438 to 4.500 for farmers' livelihoods, and 4.452 to 4.520 for community participation. The correlation analysis showed strong positive relationships between these factors and performance indicators, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.928 to 0.990. Hence, the study emphasizes the significance of engaging the community, improving farmers' livelihoods, and implementing effective capacity building to enhance food security, market expansion, and profitability in the Kirehe District. Based on the research findings, the investigator recommends strengthening community participation, supporting farmers' livelihoods, enhancing capacity building, fostering collaboration, implementing monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing sustainability, encouraging research and innovation, conducting awareness campaigns, addressing challenges promptly, and considering replication and scaling for the successful Nasho Irrigation project in Rwanda.
