This pathology, whose etiological agent is Treponema Pallidum, can be classified as: acquired, gestational or congenital, since transmission can be sexual or vertical, from mother to fetus. In recent years, gestational syphilis has seen a progressive and considerable increase in the number of cases detected in Brazil. Thus, knowing that this disease puts not only the pregnant woman's life at risk, but also that of the fetus, which can acquire the infection via transplacental transmission, it is extremely important to understand the factors involved in the increase in the number of detected cases of gestational syphilis, which is the main objective of this research. From a socio-economic perspective, the article discusses the correlation between the increase in cases and social inequality factors in areas of Brazil, understanding how the particularities of each region are reflected in health management, based on the incidence of the disease. As a methodology, we plan to carry out a bibliographical review based on books and catalogued scientific articles published in online indexed databases, such as Scientific Library Online (SciElo) and Pubmed. In addition, an analysis of data from the DATASUS platform will be carried out, also from the 2010 Census. In addition, it seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge on the subject, highlighting its use and availability in the Brazilian scenario. Methods: The research was carried out using a literature review based on data published in Periódicos CAPES, Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) and UpToDate. Results: PDT is a technique that has already been consolidated globally and has several advantages in the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer, as well as actinic keratoses, even in comprehensive cases. PDT is considered a non-invasive, fast, safe method, with few side effects, providing rapid recovery and being well tolerated by patients. It has a significant cure rate and excellent aesthetic results, differing from other treatments often cited for their disadvantages, such as undesirable scars. Conclusion: It is crucial to further explore the benefits of PDT, considering its application in different subtypes of non-melanoma skin cancer and optimizing protocols to expand its clinical application. Conventional diagnostic methods have significant limitations in terms of sensitivity and specificity. This study aims to explore the potential of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as an innovative diagnostic approach for functional dyspepsia, with a view to improving diagnostic accuracy and benefiting patients. This integrative literature review, following the PRISMA guidelines, investigated the use of fMRI in the diagnosis of functional dyspepsia. Sixteen articles were selected after rigorous screening, employing detailed descriptive analysis and narrative synthesis. As a result, it was noted that patients with functional dyspepsia exhibit alterations in brain activity, especially in areas associated with sensory processing and emotional control, indicating dysfunction in these regions. It is concluded that fMRI has promising potential in the diagnosis of functional dyspepsia, complementing conventional methods. The study's main objective is to find out about the tools used to eliminate avoidable harm to patients in Brazilian health services. The methodology used consisted of an integrative review with a qualitative approach that analyzed studies on the subject published over a 5-year period (2018-2023). The results found were that nursing plays a leading role in the development of actions to prevent the onset of damage compared to other team members, and that there is a need for ongoing education strategies to share knowledge and provide continuity in comprehensive user care. Hoje, somada a Constituição federal, Lei de Refúgio (Lei nº 9.474/1997), e a nova lei de imigração (Lei n 13.445/2017), o Brasil consolida um dos mais completos, modernos e generosos sistemas jurídicos em relação a acolhimento de pessoas migrantes, refugiados e apátridas do mundo. Tais condições fazem com que muitas pessoas busquem refúgio no país para receber ajuda humanitária e estabelecer sua residência. Por meio de análise bibliográficas e documentais, baseadas em conhecimentos teóricos empíricos, o trabalho buscou discorrer o processo de Gestão Pública praticado pelo Estado, em especial a Prefeitura de Curitiba por meio do Relatório de diagnóstico/2021 do MigraCidades. Concluiu-se que no âmbito estadual, as políticas públicas aplicadas a migrantes e refugiados são geridas por meio do CERMA/PR com apoio da sociedade civil organizada e apontou falhas. É frequentemente observado em pacientes do gênero masculino, com uma prevalência em jovens adultos e de meia-idade. A respeito do tratamento a literatura orienta que não faça a remoção do tórus mandibular, somente em situações específicas é necessária a intervenção. Objetivo: o objetivo do presente estudo é relatar um caso de tórus mandibular do gênero feminino e detalhar a sua remoção. Metodologia: Relato de caso descrevendo a anamnese, história médica, exame clínico oral, exame de imagens e a intervenção escolhida após análise do conjunto de dados coletados. Relato de caso: Uma paciente de 74 anos buscou atendimento odontológico com a queixa de insatisfação do seu sorriso. Após, a realização exame clínico minucioso notou – se a presença de uma massa de consistência endurecida, lobular, na região de processo alveolar lingual da mandíbula, recoberta por mucosa de aparência normal. Paciente relatava desconforto e dor com a presença da massa. A partir do exame clínico e com exame de imagem complementar a paciente foi diagnosticada com tórus mandibular, diante disso optou – se pela sua remoção em razão que comprometeria o tratamento pretendido para a mesma. Dessa forma, prosseguiu pela realização da cirurgia, posteriormente foi orientada a seguir algumas recomendações e constantemente monitorada pela equipe. Os objetivos específicos foram: identificar os desafios e desvelar as dificuldades dos docentes a partir do questionamento: quais os principais desafios enfrentados pelos docentes no planejamento das atividades pedagógicas no período da pandemia do Coronavírus? A pesquisa possui uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturada como técnica de coleta de dados. O tipo de pesquisa realizado foi a pesquisa de campo e a bibliográfica. O estudo baseou-se em autores como Barreto & Rocha (2020), Castanheira, Maciel e Martins (2008), Eliezer, Ribeiro e Schutz (2020), Libâneo (1994), Menegolla & Sant’anna (2001), Molina (2007), Gil (2008), entre outros. A partir das análises dos dados compreendeu-se que a pandemia trouxe diversas dificuldades referentes à organização para a realização do trabalho docente. Destacam-se a falta de planejamento adequado, tanto pelos órgãos competentes do município quanto pela escola e a escassez de recursos para garantir o modelo de ensino adotado no período pandêmico – remoto, além da falta de conhecimento do como fazer, tanto da parte de professores como de alunos, não havia as condições necessárias a esse “novo” modelo de ensino.
