Today, as a security guard of democracy, media has reached its reach not only in the country but across the world. In this era of information technology, mass communication has an important contribution in the society. Whatever the limitations of the early forms of communication, the rapid development of communication media has been closely related to the development of modern human society. In the last few years, the revolutionary changes in the procedures of mass communication due to scientific progress have completely changed the human life-style. From Parliament to the streets, all ideological wars are being fought today through the mass media. Nevertheless, people from different speech communities may encounter communication barriers as a result of their language differences. The invention of emojis, which are perceived as a universal language, is believed to bridge the communication gap between individuals of different languages. To find out how effective emojis are in communication, the findings of four empirical studies, which investigated the use of emojis in communication, were collected and analysed qualitatively. The present study was anchored on Sonja Foss’s Theory of Visual Rhetoric, which posits that visuals must communicate effectively and accurately to their audience before they can be identified and described as communicative. The findings of this study, however, showed that while emojis can trigger the emotions of readers, they may fail to communicate effectively to them. Based on these findings, it was concluded that emojis may not be an effective tool in cross border interactions.","PeriodicalId":479772,"journal":{"name":"Edumania-An International Multidisciplinary Journal","volume":"260 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140778328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study design used was a descriptive survey. There were 79 lecturers in the population, and a census sampling technique was used. Three experts verified a four-point response options questionnaire that was used to gather data. Cronbach’s alpha was used to determine the instrument’s dependability; the result was a coefficient of 0.89 and 0.88. The mean was employed to address the research questions, and the null hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 level of significance using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that there was a high level of improvement in the practical entrepreneurial abilities required to enable female undergraduates to address social and economic challenges. Also, there was a significant benefit on reducing social and economic challenges from equipping female undergraduates with real-world business skills. Consequently, it was determined that Nigeria’s social and economic problems would be significantly reduced if our postsecondary institutions sufficiently equipped female undergraduates with useful entrepreneurial abilities. In addition to other crucial recommendations, Nigeria’s female students and women in general should be equipped with high-demanding, lifelong skills for the rapidly evolving workplace by means of sufficient funding for the development of practical entrepreneurial abilities. In addition to government subsidies, the money should be consistent, steady, and could come from other sources as well.","PeriodicalId":479772,"journal":{"name":"Edumania-An International Multidisciplinary Journal","volume":"128 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140760419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research paper explores the pivotal role of audit trails and transparency in cloud-based auditing, addressing the challenges, benefits, and implications for ensuring robust security and accountability in the ever-evolving landscape of cloud computing. The paper begins by delving into the fundamental concepts of audit trails and transparency in the context of cloud-based auditing. Audit trails serve as chronological records of activities, providing a comprehensive view of actions performed within the auditing system. Transparency, on the other hand, emphasizes openness and visibility in the auditing process, fostering trust among stakeholders. Together, these elements contribute to the establishment of a secure and accountable auditing environment. One of the primary challenges in cloud-based auditing is the dynamic nature of cloud computing environments. The paper examines how the inherent complexities of cloud architectures, such as multi-tenancy and virtualization, can pose challenges to maintaining an effective audit trail. Furthermore, the dynamic allocation of resources and the use of third-party services demand innovative solutions to ensure the integrity and completeness of audit records. To address these challenges, the paper proposes a framework that combines advanced cryptographic techniques, secure logging mechanisms, and real-time monitoring to strengthen the audit trail in cloud-based environments. Emphasizing the importance of encryption and hashing algorithms, the framework aims to safeguard sensitive information while maintaining the transparency required for auditing purposes. Additionally, the integration of machine learning algorithms for anomaly detection enhances the system’s ability to identify and respond to irregularities promptly.","PeriodicalId":479772,"journal":{"name":"Edumania-An International Multidisciplinary Journal","volume":"18 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140763953","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
