The sample for this research consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014-2019. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, resulting in 25 companies. The analytical technique employed in this research is panel data regression analysis using Eviews version 10 software. The research findings indicate that political connections, related-party transactions, the proportion of independent commissioners on the board, audit quality, and the audit committee have a significant influence on tax avoidance in Indonesian manufacturing companies.","PeriodicalId":477827,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135866356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the civil service education system has not been studied in depth, especially at one of the civil service schools in West Java province which has been operating for quite a long time. For this reason, researchers want to study the civil service education system so that they can find out the existing civil service education system at civil service schools in the city that carry out civil service education at other civil service schools. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and surveys, then the data received is processed in depth to determine the research results. The results of this research show that there are 8 standards in the education system, namely content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, teacher and education staff standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards and assessment standards. Each of these standards already has good value, but there are several things that need to be improved immediately, such as management standards and facilities and infrastructure standards so that they can support learning well and achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently because each of these standards has different values. Design/Methodology/Approach: Exploring the literature on total quality management and other variables in connection to various relationships has been the subject of recent investigations.
 Findings: This paper provides an introduction of total quality management, explains how it transforms into a sophisticated strategy employed in modern businesses, and discusses the literature-based research that has been done in this field. This study suggests that total quality management, a concept popularized by Deming, be investigated in a range of industries in order to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
 Research Restrictions/Implications: This study is an integrative evaluation of the prior research on the idea of overall quality management and its connection. Future researchers are urged to make use of descriptive survey and empirical technique to generalize its findings.
 Originality/Value: To reflect comprehensive quality management, continuous improvement, and process performance, this study created a conceptual framework and model. The author created a summary table to display earlier research on the subject, including authors, topics, countries, methodologies, and findings. In light of the aforementioned, the researcher filled a knowledge gap.

This research aims to develop a model for detecting fake news in Bahasa Indonesia using a deep learning approach, combining the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method with word representations from Word2vec Continuous Bag of Words (CBOW) to achieve optimal results. Our main model is LSTM, optimized through hyperparameter tuning. This model can process information sequentially from both directions, allowing for a better understanding of the news context. The integration of Word2vec CBOW enriches the model's understanding of word relationships in news text, enabling the identification of important patterns for news classification. The evaluation results show that our model performs very well in detecting fake news. After the tuning process, we achieved an F1-Score of 97.30% and an Accuracy of 98.38%. 10-fold cross-validation yielded even better results, with an F1-Score and Accuracy reaching 99%.","PeriodicalId":477827,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135865374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The focus is on a training program provided by the Deputy of SMEs at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to improve worker awareness, compliance, and skills in OHS. A qualitative approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews and observations. Respondents were employees from SMEs and technology startups who had completed OHS certification training. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The study found that OHS certification training has a positive impact on companies. The positive impacts discovered include increased worker awareness and compliance with OHS regulations, reduced risks of accidents and occupational illnesses, increased efficiency and productivity, improved quality of products and services, and reduced operating costs. However, the study also found that there are factors that influence the success or failure of OHS certification training programs, such as confidence, motivation, and support from management. Therefore, it is recommended that the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs continue to evaluate the training program and provide sufficient support to companies in implementing OHS training. In conclusion, OHS certification training has a positive impact on companies, particularly SMEs and technology startups. The positive impact can be enhanced by considering the factors that influence the success of the training program. Therefore, the training program needs to be continually developed and improved to increase worker awareness, compliance, and skills in OHS.","PeriodicalId":477827,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135867436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
