On this basis, we can also study languages that, according to women perspective or feminist theory, retain their gender and differentiate between word meanings and grammatical rules based on gender. In these languages, there used to be Avestian and Persian, which now leaves behind gender in the language. now it is Pashto, which still retains gender and differentiates linguistic rules and trends based on gender. In Pashto, gender is dominated by two areas: One in independent concepts and the other in grammatical variations. In Pashto, there is a gender difference in the price of nouns, adjectives, numbers, and adverbs, as well as in the case of verb descriptions. However, in all these contexts, the source is masculinity, from which the feminine derives, so there are two ways: from the most common masculine to feminine.","PeriodicalId":475761,"journal":{"name":"Randwick International of Education and Linguistics Science Journal","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136342245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study used the descriptive research design. Respondents of the study were five teachers of Technical Drafting, Bartending, Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) and Oral Communication and 105 students in the City Division of Ilagan during the School Year 2019-2020. The instruments used were questionnaire and unstructured interview. Based on the findings of the study, code switching is prevalent in classroom instruction and the most commonly used type is intrasentential. Students’ use of code switching is due to many reasons foremost of which is difficulty driven. This means that they lack the ease to transmit messages in the target language thus they code switch. Secondly, they code switch in consideration of the various linguistic backgrounds of the interlocutors as well as to promote solidarity with them. Lastly, they resort to code switching when they put emphasis more on the meaning or communicative intentions and stress out a point over the language itself. Sex does not influence the type of students’ code switching but it is affected by their age, language spoken and specialization.","PeriodicalId":475761,"journal":{"name":"Randwick International of Education and Linguistics Science Journal","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136343259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
