One of the discomforts experienced by third trimester pregnant women is musculoskeletal changes that cause pain in the mother's back. Pain therapy can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological pain therapies is endorphin massage, which is a light touch or massage technique that can stimulate the body to release endorphin compounds which are pain relievers and can create a feeling of comfort. This study aims to determine the effect of endorphin massage on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women. This research method uses pre experiment with pre-test post test one group using the Wilcoxon test and sampling using the total population of 15 pregnant women. The research was conducted in April-May 2023. The results of the study obtained the average value of the pain scale before being given endorphin massage is 4.93, after being given endorphin massage down to 2.60. This shows there is a significant effectiveness of endorphin massage on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women. The results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test Z score = -3.529 and p = 0.000 where α = 0.05 then p <0.05 means there is an effect of endorphin massage on reducing the intensity of back pain in pregnant women Trimester III.","PeriodicalId":470986,"journal":{"name":"Lentera Perawat","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141704170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although pharmacological treatment has become the standard in managing hypertension, non-pharmacological therapies such as music therapy can be used as a non-pharmacological approach that has the potential to strengthen the management of this disease. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of music therapy as an intervention in hypertensive patients. The conceptual framework used is by collecting some literature that discusses the same topic by looking at research abstracts. There are 3 database sources used to search for literature, namely Proquest, Science Direct, clinicallkey and Wiley journals. Music therapy is one of the alternative therapies or non-pharmacological therapies that can be used as hypertension therapy. However, several studies have shown that distance, cost, time and quality of service affect the decline in ANC visits. For this reason, technology-based innovation (telehealth) is needed to overcome this. The aim was to evaluate the impact of using telehealth on increasing the number of antenatal care visits.  The method used was PRISMA from electronic databases: Scopus, Clinical Key Nursing, Science Direct and Proquest. The results showed that telehealth can expand the range of services, is effective, efficient and flexible in terms of cost and time, and there is no significant difference in the quality of the examination results. In conclusion, through easy access and more efficient costs offered by telehealth, it has a positive impact on increasing the number of antenatal care visits. This also has implications for the world of nursing, not only expanding maternity services but continuing to adapt to the massive development of technology to welcome the era of Society 5.0","PeriodicalId":470986,"journal":{"name":"Lentera Perawat","volume":"120 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141713203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IGF-1 is a small peptide that circulates in serum bound to a high affinity binding protein. IGF-1 is part of a vast network of growth factors, receptors, and binding proteins involved in mediating cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis IGF-I-like growth factor has broad anabolic and insulin-sensitising effects, which are generated through endocrine (in circulation) as well as paracrine/autocrine mechanisms. Serum concentrations of IGF-1 steadily increase during childhood and peak at puberty, and continue to decline since then, as does the secretion of human growth hormone.
