The used theory is “Categories of Defensive and Supportive Behavior” or is called the defense and support theory, which assumes that each individual has the nature not only to defend himself but also to provide support to others. This research type is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique was in-depth interviews and the purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research informants. Then, the data were analyzed with an interactive analysis. Meanwhile, for the validity test, the authors used the source triangulation. The research results showed that pair I (S and F) with the background of a broken-home family and more than 7 years of friendship run amicably. The similarities made it easier for them to open themselves to others and become more honest without worrying about demeaning each other because of understanding individual feelings and conditions. Pair II (A and I), although it did not have conditions for the same family, were able to open up to each other with the frequent meetings because they have lived in one boarding house since enrolling the college. Even though A felt shy at the beginning of the meeting, I showed a positive response which it could foster self-confidence and make it easy for them to open up. However, I needed to cautiously respond and give suggestions so that I did not hurt his best friend’s feelings. The broken-home teenagers only needed to be listened to when encountering a problem that should be understood. Moreover, they needed a place to share their feelings to the people they trusted and to improve their self-confidence. Their friends are required to respond and provide suggestions, but they must not look down on him/her. For example, they could offer solutions based on their experiences or suggest another perspective on the problem. Sometimes, they just listened to their friends’ suggestions without truly doing them. The self-disclosure of the broken-home teenagers was merely to relieve their sadness due to the trauma of the separation from their parents.","PeriodicalId":470186,"journal":{"name":"International journal of research and innovation in social science","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135260693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This survey uses a descriptive method with a random sampling of 217 graduating students from seven senior high schools, one two-year course of MSU-Tawi-Tawi in Bongao, and 51 respondents from public offices and private establishments. It is carried out through a survey questionnaire and an informal interview using statistical tools such as frequency count and percentage methodology. The survey result shows that the respondents perceived that the course program was favorable to the province, would provide graduates with a greater chance at finding employment, and would enable them to compete with others at the national and international levels. It shows that most of the respondents who were students are willing to pursue, enroll in the proposed program, and attend college at MSU-TCTO. The employer respondents are mostly managed by corporation in the hospitality, tourism, and catering sectors. It demonstrates how valuable and advantageous the proposed program is to their commercial businesses. Employers are willing to hire new graduates as well as trainers. SWOT Analysis identifies the internal and external forces of the organization. Strategic strategies and options would be created through these forces to make a sound decision. In this study, the researchers identified several strengths of the organization, such as a strong partnership with other organizations, facilities, and university scholarships. Meanwhile, the weaknesses have few faculty members in the department and insufficient books and holdings. Opportunities include most-demand jobs in the country, international and local economic partnerships with the local government, and expansion of international flight in the locality. However, threats contain competitors. This study provides valuable information supporting papers for the proposal of the curricular offering to the MSU System Academic Council.","PeriodicalId":470186,"journal":{"name":"International journal of research and innovation in social science","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135261466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This project is an interventional project carried out in a rural school located in Moneragala district with the aim of supporting to improve education and wellbeing of the students learning in the selected school. Few major issues were identified including inadequate infrastructure and sanitary facilities, poor road accesses, inadequate staff, non-availability of quality and adequate amount of reading materials and nonexistence of School Health Programmes. Few interventions were applied to rectify few prioritized issues which investigators make intervene. Applied interventions successfully improved the problems prioritized. Students and the staff members were very satisfied about the intervention. However, study found that major interventions are required at the national level to rectify the issues identified. Nevertheless, such simple interventions can be applied by any organization and or individual level to help education and wellbeing of the future generation in Sri Lanka. rural children. Most children have to contribute to family income. Most parents in these communities cannot afford the education of their children [5]. Some schools have no drinking water and sanitary facilities, lab facilities, electricity and the communication facilities are not available. Road accesses to most of these schools are very unsatisfactory. Some researchers have found that wild attacks are common in the schools located in Northern and North eastern provinces. Most of them are underfunded and difficult in fulfilling basic requirements required for the education. Teacher shortage is severe and skilled teachers turn away from rural schools due to lack of amenities mainly unavailability of quarters. Rural students frequently have high dropout and low level of reading and numeracy due to these issues. Moreover, the student performances are low in stated provinces. As many studies highlighted a few challenges such as lack of robust national policy, unplanned policy changes done by the political leaders, politicization of recruiting procedures and inability of identifying real needs of the country which hinders the attempts taken by the relevant authorities [6].","PeriodicalId":470186,"journal":{"name":"International journal of research and innovation in social science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135441849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve the objectives of the study, the corporate annual reports for the periods 2013-2022 were utilised as the main source of secondary data. In testing the research hypotheses, the study adopted the use of the panel least square regression method to analyse the data collected from the annual reports of the listed industrial goods in Nigeria. The study also made use of a correlational research design for testing the expected relationship between the variables of firm attributes and corporate social responsibility disclosure. The findings revealed an insignificant positive relationship between stakeholder power, media exposure, foreign ownership, and corporate social responsibility disclosure. The study, therefore recommended that the Nigerian industrial goods companies should increase their stakeholder power, media visibility, and foreign ownership in order to increase the level of corporate social responsibility disclosure.","PeriodicalId":470186,"journal":{"name":"International journal of research and innovation in social science","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135604449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
