To this end, tools from BITI, GABS, ABS-2 IPBI and IBT are outlined. The results of the study are as follows. First, many tools for measuring beliefs based on the REBT theory are tools for measuring only irrational beliefs. Second, a standardized tool that measures both rational and irrational beliefs based on the REBT theory and can be applied domestically is needed. This study is considered to be meaningful in contributing to the development of future research and the use of appropriate tools used in cognitive behavioral therapy and the development of measurement tools that can be applied in domestic cognitive behavioral therapy clinical practice. Therefore, while looking at Ellis' rational and irrational beliefs in an integrated way in the educational and clinical settings through standardized measurement tools, follow-up studies on measurement tools that can be appropriately utilized according to the domestic culture and situation are expected to continue.","PeriodicalId":46834,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74270134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subjects of this study were 10 elderly people who expressed their intention to participate in the research and obtained 18 points or more (mild dementia elderly ~ normal group) in the Korean version of the Simple Mental State Examination (K-MMSE~2) among the elderly living in a facility for the elderly in D city. As a group program participant for the elderly, the REBT group counseling program based on horticultural therapy was conducted once a week for a total of 8 sessions of 60 minutes per session. In order to verify the effectiveness of the program, the Korean version of the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDSSF-K) and the Korean version of the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (K-GAI) were used to conduct a test before and after the program, and SPSS 28.0 was used to determine normal distribution with the Shapiro-Wilk test, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and paired sample t-test were used for analysis. As a result of the study, there was a statistically significant difference in the level of depression in the participating group. However, anxiety levels declined, but were not statistically significant. Through the above results, it seems that the REBT group counseling program based on horticultural therapy has a positive effect on the reduction of depression that reduces the quality of life in old age, but it does not appear to reduce anxiety. In addition, it has a limitation that there may be a problem with the reliability of the research results due to the implementation of a single group case study.","PeriodicalId":46834,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72568828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To this end, this study reviewed previous studies based on the theory of compassion-centered therapy, and reviewed the core concepts of the theory and the characteristics of the program. The conclusion is as follows. First, Compassion Focused Therapy can be applied to people who have high levels of shame and self-blame, who tend to have chronic psychological problems, and who have difficulty or fear of self-gentleness and self-acceptance. Second, Compassion Focused Therapy targets self-criticism and shame, and seeks to enhance a sense of belonging, especially the ability to experience self-generating and self-centered belonging. Third, the Compassion-centered treatment program utilizes the emotional control system to expand and maintain the compassionate mind within oneself. Fourth, compassion-centered therapy can help to increase personal psychological well-being by extending self-compassion and meaning of life to clients with self-criticism in the field of cognitive behavioral therapy and reducing negative emotions. This study is significant in that it contributed to the development of clinical application and counseling research in domestic cognitive behavioral therapy by reviewing compassion-centered therapy and identifying research trends.","PeriodicalId":46834,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83928811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Six hundred fifty-one participants (423 females, 65%; 228 males, 35%) participated in the study. The Short UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior Scale (S-UPPS-P), Health Cognitions Questionnaire (HCQ), The Meta-Cognitions about Health Questionnaire (MCQ-HA), Cyberchondria Severity Scale -Short Form (CSS-12), and Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19 S) were completed by volunteered participants. The structural model showed that the S-UPPS-P directly and indirectly contributed to the HCQ, MCQ-HA, CSS-12, and FCV-19 S. The multi-group structural analysis by gender showed that the structural model had a partial measurement and factorial invariance.
