The classification is based on the sentiments expressed in their posts, which are divided into positive, negative, and neutral categories. The paper presents an analysis table that analyzes sentiments and opinions about online product brands. The process includes two steps: 1) analyzing sentiments from text data using machine learning techniques, and 2) describing a five-step sentiment and opinion classification process that includes data collection, preprocessing, algorithm application, validation, and visualization. The proposed solution is implemented using Python, along with the scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and Dash libraries, and leverages the use of confidence intervals to assess the accuracy and reliability of the sentiment analysis model.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136153692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to investigate the effect of digital payments on macroeconomic stability. Electronic money is used as a proxy for digital payment. The macroeconomic stability is calibrated using exchange rate volatility and inflation rate. This study uses monthly data ranging from January 2009 to March 2020. Macroeconomic data were collected from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Industry and market data from the Central Bank of Indonesia (Statistic of Bank Indonesia) and the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The data were analyzed using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) to examine the long-run and short-run relationship between the studied variables. This study found that digital payments affect Indonesian macroeconomic stability. Electronic money as a proxy of digitalization has a positive and significant relationship with exchange rate volatility and inflation. Cross-border e-commerce might induce exchange rate volatility due to its convenience as a one-stop shopping service and its lower switching cost of currency. The driver of higher inflation is electronic money, which increases people's spending, thus increasing the velocity of circulation and total consumption.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135811165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recognizing the importance of supporting healthcare professionals, this study investigates the interplay between authentic leadership, locus of control, and general self-efficacy among nurses during the pandemic. Employing a descriptive cross-sectional approach, 268 staff nurses participated in this study, conducted in the Tabuk Region of Saudi Arabia, with King Fahad and King Khaled Hospitals as the primary referral centers. Convenience sampling was utilized, and data collection was carried out using a Google Form survey questionnaire from December 2022 to January 2023. The study revealed that participants perceived their leaders as effective and authentic, and they exhibited a stronger external locus of control and higher General Self-Efficacy (GSE). Significant differences were observed based on nationality, ward assignment, and authentic leadership, with associated implications for locus of control and GSE. Authentic leadership exhibited a moderate positive correlation with the external locus of control and a strong positive correlation with the internal locus of control. However, no significant correlation was found between authentic leadership and GSE. These findings emphasize the potential of leadership development programs to nurture genuine leadership skills among nurse managers, creating conducive work environments that foster self-efficacy and enhance retention of newcomers to the nursing profession.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"134 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136153949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Businesses deem environmental, social, and governance (ESG) to be a critical strategic priority. This study aims to examine the effects of implementing ESG on customer trust, brand reputation, and brand equity. The survey research approach was utilized with 203 Thai participants using a questionnaire as the research instrument. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was utilized to investigate the proposed hypotheses in this study. The findings indicate that firms' implementation of ESG has a significant effect on both customer trust and brand reputation. Furthermore, the moderation analysis demonstrates that customer trust fully mediates the causal relationship between ESG implementation and brand equity, and partially mediates the relationship between ESG implementation and brand reputation. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the ESG concept for both academics and practitioners. The study offers implications and suggestions for future research based on these results.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136052631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over time, numerous enhanced iterations of WDR methods have emerged. Notably, the Adaptive Scalable WDR method exhibits superior coding gains, as evidenced by the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index metric (SSIM), when compared to its predecessors. This paper conducts an exhaustive examination, encompassing both coding performance and time complexity, of various WDR methods vis-à-vis the conventional image compression algorithm SPIHT. Furthermore, it delves into the performance assessment of diverse coding techniques in the realm of encoding arbitrary-shaped objects. The analysis underscores that modified WDR variants demonstrate remarkable prowess in compression, rendering them invaluable for rapid transmission in bandwidth-constrained networks. To substantiate these findings, coding results (measured in terms of PSNR) are derived from the application of these algorithms to standard test images, MRI images, and video still images. The results reveal coding gains ranging from 0.5 dB to 1 dB for regular resolution images and a substantial 2 dB to 12 dB for scalable resolution scenarios, in comparison to traditional coding approaches. Consequently, this analysis underscores the convenience and superiority of modified WDR methods, not only for still images but also for encoding and transmitting arbitrary-shaped objects.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"28 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139326862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particulate matter, particularly PM2.5, has been identified as a key contributor to elevated pollution levels. While previous studies in Thailand have primarily focused on PM2.5 in agricultural, forestry, and industrial regions, they often examine its relationship with precursor gases (e.g., SO2, NOx, VOCs, and NH3) and hotspots. However, research pertaining to the capital city, Bangkok, remains limited due to its complex source composition and unnatural urban structure, leading to unique airborne conditions. This study seeks to explore the interplay between PM2.5, precursor gases, and meteorological factors in Bangkok. To assess the influence of precursor gases and meteorological variables on PM2.5 concentrations, correlation analysis and regression techniques were applied to monitoring data obtained from relevant government agencies. Notably, PM2.5 exhibited strong correlations with precursor gases, especially NO2 (correlation coefficient, R, ranging from 0.11 to 0.87), while SO2 showed more variable correlations (R ranging from -0.45 to 0.85). Furthermore, meteorological factors exhibited significant but slightly weaker correlations with PM2.5 compared to SO2 and NO2. This suggests that NO2 plays a dominant role in driving the secondary formation of PM2.5 in the Bang Na area. Regression analysis confirmed the strong association of NO2, SO2, and relative humidity with PM2.5, while other meteorological parameters displayed less significance, even the planetary boundary layer. Contrary to previous studies that primarily rely on real-time monitoring for short durations and emphasize potential pollution sources, our research underscores the pivotal role of precursor gases, particularly under high relative humidity conditions. To elucidate the secondary formation of PM2.5 from precursor gases within urban settings, future studies should encompass longer-term real-time monitoring of both precursor gases and meteorological variables, especially in urban areas","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135963515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research employs a netnographic methodology, employing TripAdvisor reviews, to elucidate the spiritual encounters and divergent assessments encountered by visitors to these Sharia hotels. The escalating demand for accommodations adhering to Sharia principles has driven exceptional industry expansion. Nevertheless, there is a noticeable paucity of scholarly investigations into the religious experiences of patrons frequenting such establishments. This netnographic investigation endeavors to discern and provide qualitative insights into the dichotomy of positive and negative reviews, alongside the spiritual dimensions encountered by guests at Sharia hotels within Indonesia. Analyzing a dataset comprising 427 reviews spanning nine Sharia hotels through grounded theory, our findings reveal that 24.35% of patrons perceive these establishments as meticulously designed with subtle religious nuances and Middle Eastern themes. Furthermore, 25.61% of positive reviews accentuate attributes such as cleanliness, orderliness, and comfort, whereas 53.70% of negative reviews underscore deficiencies in facilities. This study acknowledges its limitation concerning the number of Sharia hotels meeting the specified research criteria. Nevertheless, its findings hold considerable significance as a foundation for service enhancements, and it calls for further research elucidating advanced marketing strategies tailored to address guest feedback concerning Islamic hotels.","PeriodicalId":46663,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136161630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
