The available literature shows that gender inequality mainly focused on men and women only. The Hijras of India are presumably the most outstanding and crowded third sex type in the cutting-edge world. It was seen from existing literature that Hijras in Indian culture face issue in each field. Present Paper will centre on the issues and status of the third gender in states of India (Top 10 Largest to smallest state Ares wise). The present paper is to establish a connection between third sex Community and economic growth of 10 largest states area wise states in India. Transgender individuals face numerous difficulties throughout their life; they are tested inwardly, rationally, physically and socially. Many theoretical researches and studies state clear evidence of a direct relationship between gender inequality and people of Transgender community. So, this study aims to link the Transgender community and how it affects the economic growth of a country. Majorly, Hijras face a two-pronged problem i.e. employment and literacy. In this paper, it has been developed and applied an integrated model, which is based on a PCA-DEA-MCDM approach, with the aim of evaluating the efficiency of a transport company from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the very beginning, using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis)–DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model, efficient and inefficient business years were identified, and then, using CRITIC (Criteria Importance Through Inter Criteria Correlation) and the Entropy method, weight values of defined parameters were determined. After that, the decision-making units were ranked using MARCOS (Measurement Alternatives and Ranking according to the Compromise Solution). In addition, the sensitivity analysis includes the formation of scenarios of changes in weight values of five most significant criteria and the calculation of SCC and WS correlation coefficients. Due to extensive global sourcing, many companies are dependent on multiple suppliers and service providers. Using a Delphi approach, this article identifies the CSFs relevant to the resilience of transportation service providers in supply chains. A novel approach using Multiple Criteria Decision-Analysis (MCDA) is then developed to rank a group of CSFs. In particular, the Best-Worst Method (BWM) and Multi-attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) methods are used to rank resilience-related CSFs for transportation service providers in uncertain environments using Hesitant Fuzzy Sets (HFS). Motivated by a large agricultural firm that deals with planting, growing, harvesting and distributing cauliflowers, an optimization model is introduced for the simultaneous management of storage and shipment of agricultural products, aiming for profit maximization, while accounting for product perishability. In view of a contractual agreement, the firm has to ensure, along the entire season, the delivery of at least a given share of harvested products to the main contract-customer. Nonetheless, the firm can catch more profitable opportunities on the daily spot-market. The model embeds a hybrid fresh/old-first policy to account for the firm priority policy that aims to balance quality of products delivered to the main customer. The model has been adopted at both the tactical and the operational decision level. At the tactical level, the model has been used to select the fleet size and the maximum in-stock time of products, while at the operational one, the model has been used for the day-by-day planning of storage and shipment. Nurses and surgeons face extreme workload every day, whose schedules can be improved by correct scheduling of surgeries. This paper addresses integrated scheduling of operating rooms, nurses, and surgeons aiming to minimize makespan and maximize patient satisfaction and surgical teams’ affinity. A constraint programming model and a hybrid method of NSGA-II and multi-objective dragonfly algorithm (MODA) are developed. Results indicate that high-quality solutions for problem instances with up to 150 surgeries are obtained by the CP model in less than 500 seconds. Sustainable development attracts both researchers and industrial practitioners who are focused on the design and implementation of logistics system. AI-based meta-heuristics approaches has emerged as a capable method for quickly providing optimal or near-optimal solutions for the problems that exact optimization cannot solve. Recent advances in various AI-based meta-heuristics approaches can resolve various and complex logistics and supply chain problem types. In this special issue, recent trends and studies of sustainable logistics systems using AI-based meta-heuristics approaches have been introduced and analyzed. In the first contribution ‘Applying GA-VNS Approach to Supply Chain Network Model with Facility and Route Disruptions,’ by Anudari, Yun, and Gen introduced a supply chain network (SCN) model which simultaneously considers the disruption risks of facility and route. As most of conventional studies have focused either on facility disruption solely or on route disruption solely, simultaneously considering the disruption risks of facility and route in the SCN model can reinforce the efficiency and stability for its implementation. For solving the SCN model, they proposed a GA-VNS approach which combines genetic algorithm (GA) with variable neighborhood search (VNS), as one of hybrid meta-heuristics approaches. The performance of the proposed GA-VNS approach was compared with those of some conventional single and hybrid meta-heuristic approaches, and the experimental results shown that the former outperforms the latter. In the second contribution ‘Edge Boundary Variable Neighborhood Strategy Adaptive Search for a Vegetable Crop Land Allocation Problem,’ by Nitisiria, Sethanana, Pitakaso, and Gen introduced a meta-heuristic approach to optimize crop land allocation for planting vegetables. For the meta-heuristic approach, edge boundary variable neighborhood strategy adaptive search (EB-VaNSAS) was applied to significantly improve the solution quality of the traditional variable neighborhood strategy. The numerical results shown that the proposed EBVaNSAS outperforms competing methods. In the third contribution ‘Multi-criteria decision-making methods for the evaluation of a real-green supply chain in companies with fast-moving consumer goods,’ by Rastpour, Kayvanfar, and Rafiee proposed a green supply chain management (GSCM) model to assess and compare the greenness of Iran’s industry. A step by step analysis using fuzzy Delphi method, fuzzy DEMATEL method, and weighted aggregated sum product assessment method were conducted and through real-case study in Iran’s industry, the importance of GSCM implementation was emphasized. Benzothiazoles are discussed in terms of synthesis methodologies, structural changes, chemical reactivity, and possible pharmaceutical effectiveness. This research relied upon secondary data obtained from the sources. The qualitative method was used to provide a section of such an evaluation which looked flawless and accurate. A handy methodology strategy is used in inquiry research. Heterocyclic compounds have been widely exploited in bioorganic and medical research for medication development. Scientists are interested in such compounds because of their various physicochemical and pharmacological properties. Recognizing heterocycles is advantageous in both industrial and biological processes. Hypertension kills nearly 8 million people every year, worldwide and nearly 1.5 million people each year in the south east Asian (SEA) region, approximately one third of the adult population in SEA region has high pressure. Objective: To assess the knowledge and attitude regarding lifestyle modification to prevent hypertension among bank employees. Methods and Material: Survey research design was used. 100 bank employees were included from selected banks of Delhi by convenient sampling technique. Structured knowledge questionnaire and attitude scale were used to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding lifestyle modification to prevent hypertension. Result: The mean knowledge and attitude scores were 14.34 and 13.85. The drugs were separated using aluminium precoated plate with silica gel 60 F-254 as the stationary phase using Toluene: Ethyl acetate: Methanol 6: 4: 1 (v/v/v) as the mobile phase. At 231 nm, the separated zones were densitometrically evaluated. The two drugs were satisfactorily resolved with RF values of 0.78 ± 0.02 and 0.33 ± 0.02 for Spironolactone and Hydrochlorothiazide. The accuracy and reliability of the method were assessed by evaluation of linearity (120-270 ng/spot for Spironolactone and 100-350 ng/spot for Hydrochlorothiazide), precision (intra-day RSD 0.98-1.80 % and inter-day RSD 0.76-1.92 % for Spironolactone, and intra-day RSD 0.84-1.85 % and inter-day RSD 0.31-1.68 % for Hydrochlorothiazide), accuracy (100.78 ± 0.49 % for Spironolactone and 98.54 ± 1.80 % for Hydrochlorothiazide, by ICH guidelines.
