Posiblemente no sea un error pensar que la mayoría de los profesionales de la psicología (y de otras profesiones sanitarias) desconoce que el suicidio es la primera causa de muerte de las mujeres durante el periodo perinatal, que comprende desde el embarazo hasta un año después del parto (Enătescu et al., 2020; Gelaye et al., 2017; Knight et al., 2019). Seguramente el interés que suscita este tema se deba, en parte, a la tristeza y perplejidad que despiertan las noticias sobre los suicidios de las (recientes o futuras) madres junto con la presencia de otros fenómenos como el neonaticidio o el infanticidio, sucesos éstos raros, pero -al igual que el suicidiocomplejos y con profundas raíces psicológicas (Al-Halabí, 2019; Al-Halabí et al., 2019; Al-Halabí y García-Haro, 2021; Al-Halabí et al., 2021). Sin embargo, tras varias décadas de investigación aún no tenemos una narrativa coherente que permita comprender la compleja asociación entre maternidad y suicidio (Fisher, 2016). Sí parece claro que los mitos acerca del amor inmediato hacia los hijos recién nacidos suponen una importante barrera para que las mujeres pidan ayuda o consigan los recursos que necesitaba para afrontar una crisis suicida. A pesar de lo contundente que resulta el dato que abre este artículo, apenas se han establecido intervenciones preventivas específicas para el abordaje de este problema, cuyas consecuencias son devastadoras, tanto para los bebés que pierden a sus madres, como para las familias, cuyo sufrimiento desborda los parámetros habituales acerca de los costes sociales y sanitarios (Al-Halabí et al., 2019). Se han revisado 165 estudios experimentales seleccionados de un total de 225. Para establecer la eficacia de la terapia se han usado los criterios propuestos por la Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Los resultados de esta revisión indican que PCIT es un tratamiento bien establecido para cinco problemáticas infantiles: problemas de conducta, Trastorno Negativista Desafiante, Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad, prevención del maltrato y para el tratamiento del maltrato infantil. Palabras Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a brief therapy to effectively treat behavioral problems in children aged 2 to 7. A systematic review of the effectiveness and efficacy of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) has been carried out through these databases: Scopus, Web of Science, Psyclit, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Dialnet, and those of the therapy itself. From a total of 225 studies, 165 experimental studies were selected and reviewed. The criteria proposed by the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology have been used to establish the efficacy of the therapy. It is not an unspecific or inert effect. It has a ubiquitous nature and accounts for all types of treatments, although psychology is the area that makes it comprehensible. Discussing and discovering what makes it so effective is a useful and illustrative task regarding how treatments work. La Psicología se concibe, así mismo, como una ciencia plural, en tensión entre las ciencias naturales y humanas, en la que el desarrollo histórico aún no ha llevado a un mo-nismo teórico ni metodológico. Esta pluralidad es la fuente de la dificultad para desarrollar un criterio de demarcación tanto para la Psicología, como para la psicoterapia. Finalmente se analizan los problemas para establecer los criterios de demarcación para la Psicología y la psicoterapia, y se proponen los principales aspectos que se deben tener en cuenta a la hora de construirlos. The controversy over the scientific nature of psychology necessarily has to do with the idea of science and the criteria that demarcate it. Different philosophical ideas about science are reviewed with their respective demarcation criteria, and the plurality of the sciences, which are not reducible to each other, is supported. Psychology is also conceived as a plural science, in tension between the natural and human sciences, and in which historical development has not yet led to theoretical or methodological monism. This plurality is the source of the difficulty in developing a criterion of demarcation for both psychology and psychotherapy. El hecho de que en los criterios diagnósticos del TEA se remarque la necesidad de la presencia de la sintomatología en diversos contextos, hace necesario que para realizar el diagnóstico se deba recurrir a una evaluación por parte de diferentes informantes, que se relacionen con las personas con TEA en diferentes contextos, siendo los casos más habituales la evaluación por parte de la familia y del profesorado. En numerosas ocasiones, los resultados de estas evaluaciones, a partir de la información que proporcionan las familias y los profesores sobre un mismo estudiante, presentan notables diferencias (De Los Reyes, 2011). De hecho, numerosos estudios han mostrado que los niveles de correlación entre las evaluaciones realizadas por diferentes informantes suelen ser de moderados a bajos (Jepsen, Gray & Taffe, 2012; Kanne, Abbacchi & Constantino, 2009; Mattila et al., 2009). Estas diferencias en la valoración de los estudiantes con TEA, podrían ser achacadas a factores como el error de medida, posibles diferencias en las interpretaciones de las preguntas por parte de los informantes, las expectativas del evaluador, la frecuencia de interacción de los informantes con la persona con TEA, o las diferencias en la estructura del entorno, como por ejemplo un entorno escolar (estructurado) versus el ambiente familiar (no estructurado) (Achenbach, 2011). A literature review was carried out using the databases Web of Science, Scopus and PsycINFO, taking into account publications produced between 2010 and 2017 in Spanish or English. We selected 25 articles that were analyzed based on different characteristics such as the instruments used. The results show heterogeneity in the findings. A meme is a unit of cultural information that is replicated and evolved by selection mechanisms. Memetics is the field that deals with the study of memes and how they are distributed and evolved. The aim of this article is to analyze important issues of psychotherapy and clinical psychology based on a memetics approach.
