Dinamika suvremene obitelji, očekivanja i težnje roditelja, promjene u shva- ćanjima prirode djece i roditeljskog autoriteta, ubrzan tehnološki razvoj i dostupnost raznih informacija o pozitivnom roditeljstvu samo su neki od čimbenika koji mogu oblikovati subjektivan do- življaj roditeljske uloge. U Hrvatskoj su vrlo rijetka istraživanja u kojima su u fokusu roditelji, a osobito kvalitativna istraživanja koja su usmjerena na subjektivna iskustva i brige roditelja djece različite dobi. U ovom će se radu prikazati rezultati kvalitativnog istraživanja koje je imalo za cilj istražiti osobna iskustva i izazove roditelja djece različite dobi, roditelja djece u ranom i kasnom djetinjstvu, adolescenciji i već \"odrasle\" djece. Kvalitativno istraživanje provedeno je u hrvatskim regijama te je sudjelovalo 103 roditelja (90 majki i 13 očeva) u 16 fokus-grupa. Rijavec","doi":"10.5559/di.32.2.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5559/di.32.2.07","url":null,"abstract":"Cilj je ovog istraživanja bio istražiti doprinos samooblikovanja posla zadovoljstvu poslom i zanesenosti na poslu te zadovoljstvu životom i psihološkom procvatu. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 275 zaposlenika (od kojih je 64,4 % žena) dobi od 20 do 53 godine (Mdob = 32,13 (7,21)). Rezultati su pokazali određenost apsorpcije, uživanja i intrinzične motivacije te zadovoljstva poslom pojedinim dimenzijama samooblikovanja posla, dok neke dimenzije samooblikovanja posla predviđaju i psihološki procvat te zadovoljstvo životom zaposlenika. Povećanje strukturnih resursa posla pokazalo se pozitivnom odrednicom svih promatranih pokazatelja poslovne i opće dobrobiti. Uz to, povećanje izazovnih zahtjeva posla pozitivno je predviđalo sve tri dimenzije zanesenosti na poslu. In contrast to these victorious countries, the countries defeated in the war (primarily Germany and Austria) had a significantly more modest and different approach to the commemoration. The emphasis was on all war victims, soldiers and civilians, regardless of which side of the war they had fought on. Since Croatia, as a former part of Austria-Hungary, found itself in a completely new state union after it was united with the Kingdom of Serbia after the war, veterans were ill-advised to mention their participation in the war on the wrong side. It was no better after the end of World War II, when one victor's narrative replaced another, and made the mentioning of formerly existing monarchies completely unacceptable. Županić","doi":"10.5559/di.32.1.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5559/di.32.1.07","url":null,"abstract":"The study investigates exposure to stress by respondents working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and differences in using three instruments to measure stress. The survey was conducted from September to October 2018 in Dubrava Clinical Hospital in the ICU unit, with forty-one (41) healthcare professionals. Three forms of testing were set up: self-evaluation of stress, measurements of physiological indicators, and cortisol levels. The results show a statistically significant difference in mean cortisol levels, with the first sample much higher than other samples. There were significant interactions between skin conduction (SC) and stress levels, where all participants exhibited increases in SC. Heart rate variability (HRV) shows a slight correlation with stress levels in the group possessing substantially more stress experience. The data on the basis of which the research was carried out were collected from the national statistics and the database of the World Bank for the period 2006–2018, and as a statistical method, the multivariant analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used. The results obtained indicate that there is a statistically significant correlation between the gross domestic product per capita ($), growth of urban population, growth of rural population, percentage of undernourished population and poverty rate. Pavlović","doi":"10.5559/di.32.1.02","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5559/di.32.1.02","url":null,"abstract":"Various contemporary psychological models of radicalisation, next to contextual factors, also highlighted the role of relatively stable dispositions in accepting extremist ideologies and political violence related to these ideologies. Newer studies, focused on the role of dark personality traits in the context of radicalisation, relatively consistently found that persons high on dark personality traits are more likely to support political violence and extreme politics. However, empirical explanations of this relationship are still rare. Therefore, this study, in line with previous research, tested if aggression, a common characteristic of dark personality traits, lies behind the relationship between dark personality traits and the honesty/humility dimension from the HEXACO model with support for political violence, while taking into account potential sources of bias that were present in earlier studies. The results obtained on a sample of 191 faculty students robustly exhibited that the relationship between the studied personality traits and support for political violence disappears after statistically controlling for aggression.
