Without any flying capacitors, this topology has high power density, and can be used in 6 kV voltage level. To address the problem of unbalanced neutral-point (NP) voltage, this paper derives a mathematical model of NP voltage and uses a combination of COPWM modulation strategy and fine-tuned duty cycle to achieve balanced control of the NP voltage by software. Simulation and experimental results prove the rationality and validity of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":45126,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal-Japan Focus","volume":"12 3 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90749382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the heat transfer path of stator for single stator double rotor (SSDR) AFPM machine is restricted, the heat pipes provide auxiliary heat dissipation paths for the windings and stator. Firstly, the winding cooling structure with auxiliary heat pipes of YASA AFPM motor is introduced because the introduction of heat pipe will occupy winding space and itself will also produce loss due to flux leakage in slots, the optimization of winding loss and heat pipe size becomes a key issue. Then, fins are added to the surface of the shell and end covers to increase the heat dissipation area and enhance convection heat exchange. Based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the size of the heat pipe and the fins get optimized in this paper. The temperature distribution of YASA AFPM motor are obtained. The results show that when the length, width, and height is respectively set to 18mm, 5mm, and 102.5 mm, the interaction between the thermal and electromagnetic performance reduces the peak temperature of YASA AFPM to $146.31 ^{circ}mathrm{C}$, which has certain reference significance for improving the operational reliability of the AFPM synchronous motors in YASA structures.","PeriodicalId":45126,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal-Japan Focus","volume":"24 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86831280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, PCC and PSC are not comprehensively compared. As a result, which coupler should be employed in a specific application is unclear. This paper compares PCC and PSC in terms of coupling coefficient, self-inductance factor, misalignment tolerance, coupler quality factor, cost, weight, and size. To make the comparison fair, PCC and PSC are firstly optimized. Two control IPT systems, one employing PCC while the other utilizing PSC, are built in PSIM. The advantages and disadvantages of PCC and PSC are further verified. PCC outperforms PSC in cost, weight, size, and coupler quality factor, but PSC performs better in coupling coefficient, self-inductance factor, and misalignment tolerance. Hence, PSC is preferable in most applications except rotating case.","PeriodicalId":45126,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal-Japan Focus","volume":"19 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90358353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can improve the acceleration characteristics of the vehicle and achieve high efficiency of the system. To optimize the propulsion efficiency, a power allocation method is designed to determine the torque ratio between the front and rear axle motors. This paper proposes an efficiency-based optimal energy management strategy for dual-motor driven electric vehicles. In this way, the remaining battery state of charge is improved by reducing vehicle power loss. The energy consumption of the vehicle is firstly determined by drive cycles. The optimal distribution factor is calculated to minimize the system loss at each time sample. This determines distributions of the traction, regeneration, and mechanical braking forces between two motors. Simulation analysis is conducted under drive cycles of NEDC and WLTC. Results show that the method can reduce the total energy consumption of the system. With the proposed method, the braking energy recovery rate is improved, which also enhances the economy of the whole vehicle under different driving conditions.","PeriodicalId":45126,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal-Japan Focus","volume":"48 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76012956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A large number of electric logistics vehicles, as flexible response resources on the demand side, can participate in the demand response through load aggregators. Therefore, it is necessary to study the pricing strategy of load aggregators, so as to realize the optimization of multiple economic interests. Based on the operation model of load aggregator, a master-slave game two-level optimization model of load aggregator with energy storage resources is established by using multi-thermal codes to number vehicles. Simulation results show that the load aggregators of charging prices set by the time the influence of the proportion of electric material distribution vehicle. Energy storage device of chance constrained the confidence level is lower, the higher the income of the load aggregators, the flexibility of its response to real-time electricity price, the better, but earnings threshold, so you need to choose a reasonable confidence level to ensure that the load aggregators has certain economy and flexibility. By controlling the operating frequency of the inverter power supply so that the system works at the second resonant point, the output power is decoupled from the mutual inductance of the coil under the condition that the receiver side moves, eliminating the need for double-ended communication. In this paper, the general mathematical model of the DWC system is established, and the general parameter conditions for realizing the zero-phase operation of the system are analyzed. It is found that there are two second resonance points on both sides of the main resonance point under the over-coupling condition. Furthermore, the energy transfer characteristics of the system under different resonance points are analyzed, and the characteristics that the second resonance point can achieve constant power are verified.
