The purpose of this study was to determine parental co-viewing and involvement in the use of gadgets in reducing the dangers caused by gadgets. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study research design on three parents who have children aged 2-5 years. The data collection technique uses interviews and field notes which are then processed using grounded theory analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that parents use parental co-viewing because through this parental mediation parents will know and supervise children's digital activities so that they can reduce the dangers of gadgets. In addition, this parental co-viewing also increases the closeness of parents with their children. Activities carried out by parents with their children are watching educational videos on the YouTube application and playing game on educational game applications. Parental Co-viewing can be a guide for parents to help early childhood to avoid the dangers posed by the device because parents can organize and know the content that will be accessed by their children.","PeriodicalId":448685,"journal":{"name":"ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121448528","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to determine how teachers of Islamic Kindergarten/Raudhatul Athfal integrate Islamic values into STEAM instruction. The qualitative phenomenological method was employed in the research. The study enrolled 44 teachers and principals from eight Islamic Kindergartens/Raudhatul Athfal in five cities/districts throughout three provinces. The research revealed that instructors of Islamic Kindergarten/Raudhatul Athfal instill Islamic values into the STEAM curriculum by 1) integrating Islamic thematic; 2) conducting Tarbiyah Imaniyah and Islamiyah; 3) utilizing technological media, and 4) referencing the Qur'an and Hadith. The researchers concluded that implementing Islamic-based STEAM learning in Islamic Kindergarten/Raudhatul Athfal is characterized by reoccurring themes, which are subsequently translated into STEAM learning activities. The researchers urge Islamic Kindergarten/Raudhatul Athfal teachers to incorporate Islamic values throughout all STEAM curriculum components continuously. ","PeriodicalId":448685,"journal":{"name":"ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123876481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of digital learning media such as augmented reality flashcards is also needed as a way to teach English to early childhood who are now accustomed to the use of advances in digital technology. The purpose of this study was to improve the mastery of English vocabulary in children aged 4-5 years by using augmented reality flashcards. This research was conducted in August-September 2022. This research is a classroom- action research using Kurt Lewin's model which consists of 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model for qualitative data and simple statistics (percentages) for quantitative data. The subjects of this research are all children aged 4-5 years at Marsudisiwi Kindergarten, Laweyan Surakarta, totaling 20 children. The results show that there was an increase in children's English vocabulary mastery from cycle 1 by 35% and increased to 85% at the end of cycle 3 for the very well-developed category (BSB). The increase was also seen from the number of vocabulary that the children acquired, the correct pronunciation of the given vocabulary, and the ability to distinguish the meaning of one word from another.","PeriodicalId":448685,"journal":{"name":"ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121023342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is motivated by several problems; the lack of parental involvement in accompanying children to study at home, economic factors, the internet network, and a lack of interest in children participating in learning so that early childhood cannot develop optimally. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires administered via the media google form to 69 teachers and principals in Palopo City. Data analysis uses source triangulation with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This study’s results indicate that teachers still use children’s worksheets (LKA) assignments for learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study’s novelty is that teachers use a new approach, namely, the visit-home method. Even though there are still a few, who use the home visit method, the home visit method is considered beneficial because the learning carried out is more effective compared to online. Students understand learning material more quickly and are interested in participating in learning at home. Researchers hope this home visit method will not only be applied during a pandemic.","PeriodicalId":448685,"journal":{"name":"ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125042161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, not all kindergarten teachers have yet obtained information and ideas related to computational thinking skills. This study attempts to determine the effectiveness of active distance learning using a zoom video conference application in improving teachers' computational thinking skills. Furthermore, it also examines the teachers' progress in learning computational skills through online coding websites such as code.org and ScratchJr. A hundred and sixty-three kindergarten teachers from Central Java Province in Indonesia participated in the study. The study used a quantitative approach and employed a pre-experimental design, one group pretest and a post-test study. The data were gathered through pretest, post-test, and reflection of assignment records. We employed the Wilcoxon test because our data are on the ordinal scale. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was utilized to find out the significance of distance learning. The results show active distance learning effectively enhances teachers' computational thinking skills. Moreover, active distance learning provides an impressive experience to participants in improving their mastery of computational thinking.","PeriodicalId":448685,"journal":{"name":"ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124447184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
