Iran is the source of one of such plants: Kelussia odoratissima, which has recently entered the pharmacopeia. Kelussia odoratissima is an extremely useful medicinal plant that is, unfortunately, an endangered species in Iran. This study aims at measuring the growth indices under experimental conditions with cocopeat and vermicompost media with nutritious fertilizers NPK (100:20:150) ppm and laser. The seeds were separated into four distinct groups: first, cooling with the seeds; second, submerged in 1500 ppm hormones gibberellin; third, exposure to a laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for 15 min; fourth, both 1500 ppm gibberellin and laser. Each condition was inspected on four different levels of rich cocopeat with vermicompost 10%, 20%, or 30%. In each group of treatment, the medium cocopeat without vermicompost and nutrition was considered as the control treatment, with the hope of both saving and cultivating this precious plant. The experiment took roughly seven months, with the plantlet not only kept alive and stable but with superior characteristics compared to natural media and growth conditions. The results show that the best growth conditions are as follows; a laser with gibberellin hormone plus 30 percent vermicompost and NPK (100:20:150) ppm fertilizer. This improves growth indices such as the wet weight of both plantlet and root, the dry weight of both plantlet and root, and the length of both plantlet and root.","PeriodicalId":448071,"journal":{"name":"2019 Photonics North (PN)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122410529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the refractive index of liquids is sensitive to temperature variations, the proposed HBPCF can be used in a Sagnac interferometer as a highly sensitive temperature sensor. Rigorous coupled wave analysis computes the transmission/scattering of the subwavelength structure, which we then couple to a ray tracing analysis to simulate the entire CPV system. In the present study, the mechanism underlying the wetting transition of the femtosecond laser generated periodic surface structures on titanium was systematically assessed by analyzing their surface chemical compositions as a function of time by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy along with static water contact angle measurements.","PeriodicalId":448071,"journal":{"name":"2019 Photonics North (PN)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131465010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Device structure, such as amorphous silicon layer thickness and doping, is being optimized for bifacial illumination conditions representative of the Canadian High Arctic, with independent spectra illuminating the front and rear faces of the cell. The present cell structure has an efficiency of 20.3% under front-face illumination with AM1.5G.
