Patients with cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease and heart failure were vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have high risk of worsening their condition when infected of the COVID-19 virus. Health screening was one of the efforts in preventive measure to identify this risk group. This activity aimed to identify people who are at risk or suffer from cardiovascular disease. The method using physical examination, including blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels. There were 22 people in Jorong Bansa carried out in this activity. The results of the screening found that there were 3 people with high blood pressure in the stage 1 hypertension and 3 people with the stage 2 hypertension. There were 6 people with cholesterol levels > 200 mg/dl and 1 person was identified as having a history of diabetes melitus with blood sugar levels > 200 mg/dl. Screening can be a preventive effort to identifying the disease and complication preventive. This plastic pollution will be degraded into microplastic. This microplastic will pollute the environment and negatively impacted health if exposed too much. Recent research has found microplastics in clothes, toys, and even food. The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas conducts outreach to the public to enhance the general public's understanding of microplastics and their impact on health. The outreach activity began with filling out a pre-test to assess the public's understanding of microplastics. Followed by education about microplastic exposure, the dangers of microplastics, and education about a healthy lifestyle to reduce sources of microplastic exposure. The event ended with filling out a post-test by participants. Paired t-test analysis on pre-test and post-test data showed an increase in public understanding regarding microplastics, sources of exposure, health impacts and ways to reduce microplastic exposure. Therefore, this service activity needs to be carried out because, through the ability to plan and manage sound finances, it is believed that it will help the family in planning their grievances so that financial problems can be minimized. The activities carried out were workshops and seminars involving homemakers in Padang. The selection of homemakers in this activity was because a mother is a financial manager in a family. So that the mother's ability to manage finances determines the family's financial condition, this activity was carried out for one day. However, what is happening in today's society in improving the degree of health is even higher in health services. Many people receive curative treatment in health facilities but pay little attention to personal and environmental hygiene. The problems in Nagari Paninggahan are the need for more knowledge and awareness of the Paninggahan community in waste management, non-communicable diseases, rational use of drugs, and personal hygiene. This activity aims to increase public knowledge and awareness to improve the health status of the Paninggahan community. This activity was carried out using health promotion methods and practices and through leaflets. The results were that people could use used goods to make new, more valuable goods, understand that diseases such as hypertension must be appropriately handled with routine checks, know how to use the right medicines and practice proper hand washing to avoid various diseases. Another impact from the Covid-19 pandemic also affects the consumption and immunity of teenagers. Consumption and body immunity are factors that can affect nutritional status. The Covid-19 pandemic changes eating patterns, as well as inhibits and reduces the movement or physical activity of adolescents. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out balanced nutrition education, vaccines, and the application of health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. This community service aimed to educate students about balanced nutrition, vaccines, and the application of health protocols to adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic using leaflets and posters to students at SMP PERTIWI 2 Padang. The method to see respondents' knowledge level was carried out pre-test and post-test on balanced nutrition education, vaccines and the application of health protocols for adolescents at SMP PERTIWI 2 Padang used a questionnaire with 20 questions. This service showed that the respondents' knowledge increased by 11.4%, 80%, in the pre-test to 91.4% in the post-test. The Guo River Walk is one of the community service activities of the Andalas University Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM). This activity was held on September 26, 2021, at the Guo River, Koto Tangah, Kuranji District, Padang City. This activity is also at the same time as World River Day tourism which is celebrated every September 27. The purpose of the river crossing activity, a community service activity, is to identify the type of damage, what factors cause the damage, and the impact caused by the damage to the Guo river and the upstream Guo watershed. This activity was carried out using desk research methods along the river and data analysis. After the Guo River Crossing activity, the community became aware and understood the importance of maintaining a sustainable river for their lives. The author also identified damage to the Guo River and the upstream Guo watershed, including deforested forests due to logging, damage to irrigation canals and river bank landslides due to flooding on August 18, 2021, in Padang. Mutiara Ayu produces Healthy Soybean Milk using natural ingredients without the addition of preservatives, artificial sweeteners, and synthetic flavors. In running their business, MSME Mutiara Ayu experienced various problems, such as the production process was not optimal, the product was not standardized and certified, and the trademark was not registered. The University of Riau Abdimas team was integrated with the Real Work Lecture (Kukerta) program in partnership with MSME Mutiara Ayu by assisting in solving the problems being faced by increased knowledge and skills. One of the activities carried out was guidance and assistance in registering trademarks. Through this activity, it was hoped that Mutiara Ayu could understand the procedures and register their trademarks at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham). It happens due to the sloping and high rainfall (> 3000 mm per year) area. The soil is prone to landslides if the sloping land is intensively cultivated for crop growth. This community engagement activity socialised and practised alley cropping techniques to manage farming in the sloping area. This method for introducing the alley cropping technique was through presentation and discussion as well as practice in the field with a farming group “Sehati”, a member of KPGH (Hamka generation youth community), and community leaders of the Nagari Sungai Batang in November 2021. A farmer cultivating red onion adopted the alley cropping method for the farm having a 19o39’ (36%) slope level with an alley width was 5 m. Gliricidia sepium and Tithonia diversifolia, known as green manure crops, were placed perpendicular to the slope of the alley fence.
