Minor classroom disruptions like this might not seem worth theorizing, but this essay reframes such disruptions as rich sites for understanding the role of affect in humanities pedagogy. While a suspicious disposition underlies much of introductory composition pedagogy, especially the teaching of argument, postcritique has made little entry into discourses of undergraduate instruction. This essay presents these components as they are found in the Emory University joint undergraduate/graduate course Digging into the Archives and Creating an Exhibition. The students learn how to navigate archives; ways to collaborate successfully with library and museum exhibition teams (and each other); skills in design and presentation; public programming; and strategies for identifying and reaching broad and diverse audiences. After introducing Tutuola's work and considering some of the issues at stake for a decolonial pedagogy, it argues that Drinkard provides an active reading experience that creates powerful opportunities in the classroom to challenge students’ assumptions about how colonialism was experienced by colonized populations, the valences of the human, and uses of the English language. Českou a německou didaktiku národního (mateřského) jazyka sice rozděluje typologická rozdílnost němčiny a češtiny, ale spojuje je historická blízkost vzdělávacích systémů, stejně jako podobné didaktické přístupy k výuce jazyka. Metodologicky se studie opírá o výběr odborných publikací v prostředí centrálního vyhledávače UKAŽ (prameny české a anglosaské provenience) a vyhledávače Google Scholar (prameny německé provenience). Získaný seznam odborné literatury německé a české oborové didaktiky byl dále rozšiřován o relevantní tituly sekundární literatury obsažené v těchto pramenech. Ze zkoumaných aspektů hodnocení písemných slohových prací se studie zaměřuje zejména na uplatnění kriteriálního hodnocení, přičemž zkoumá různé přístupy k hodnoticím kritériím i jejich váze. Metody: Předmětem kvalitativní analýzy byly písemné reflexe výuky vypracované podle transdidaktického přístupu metodikou 3A studenty učitelství ve třech etapách jejich studia. Z celkem 479 reflexí jsme vybrali 45 textů od 15 studentů z devíti studijních oborů. Výběr proběhl prostřednictvím intenzivního vzorkování. Kódovanou jednotkou byly determinant výuky. Ty byly sledovány metodou induktivní analýzy, pomocí kódování v programu Atlas.ti. Výsledky: Ve třech etapách studia jsme v reflexích vysledovali výskyt a kvalitu 29 determinant výuky přiřazených do tří okruhů: ontodidaktického, psychodidaktického a psychologického. Ontodidaktický okruh zahrnuje 9 determinant výuky a 576 kódovaných jednotek, psychodidaktický 16 determinant výuky a 310 kódovaných jednotek, psychologický okruh 20 determinant výuky a 490 kódovaných jednotek. Při srovnání etap studia byl zjištěn postupný pokles četnosti kódů identifikovaných v psychologickém okruhu a nárůst četnosti v okruhu psychodidaktickém. Závěry: Z analýzy obsahu reflexí vyplývá, že jejich autoři pohlížejí na kódované determinanty výuky převážně sdruženou perspektivou oborové didaktiky a psychologie. Tato tendence zesiluje během studia s nárůstem oborově didaktických poznatků.
