Se trata de una cuestión que su autor dedica a don Álvaro de Mendoza, un importante noble, en la que defiende que solo por medio de la experiencia adquirida a lo largo del tiempo un guerrero puede aumentar su coraje, y rechaza que quien no conoce la guerra pueda ser más valiente (por mucho que ignoren los riesgos y peligros de la vida militar). El autor defiende esta idea en tanto que intenta probar que únicamente aquel que pertenece a un antiguo linaje noble puede ser considerado verdaderamente noble, lo que había defendido en su tratado Nobiliario vero.","PeriodicalId":44540,"journal":{"name":"REVISTA DE FILOLOGIA ESPANOLA","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2018-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48493068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

De este modo, se estudian los volúmenes de Calderón de la Barca, Valdivielso o Lope de Vega, además de las misceláneas de Tirso de Molina o Pérez de Montalbán entre otros; además se presta una especial atención a las condiciones y motivos de cada tomo, para intentar configurar el panorama editorial de los autos en ese momento histórico. However, in spite of the exiguity of his preserved work, he is not just an occasional poet, but a reputed figure among his peers. In this paper I aim to demonstrate the importance of this poet, placing him in a specific historical and poetic context, and also I offer traces of his other lost works.","PeriodicalId":44540,"journal":{"name":"REVISTA DE FILOLOGIA ESPANOLA","volume":"45 1","pages":"315-338"},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2017-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88082881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, it outlines the anthology’s corrections, insertions, and deletions from its publication in 1561 to its latest edition in 1610. Secondly, it explains the misinterpretation from which the anthologist is deemed as the author of the short stories. As argued here, the fact that the letter addressed to the readers was not included in the latest editions triggered the misunderstanding about the authorship of the short stories. Finally, it offers significant data that proves the circulation of the anthology in Spain in the 16th and 17th Centuries.","PeriodicalId":44540,"journal":{"name":"REVISTA DE FILOLOGIA ESPANOLA","volume":"84 1","pages":"265-284"},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2017-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88504250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, we analyse thoroughly the documentation of all the selected words, as well as the possible sources of the texts in which they are located, taking also into account their representation in the history of the Spanish dictionaries. As a result of all the above, we formulate new etymological proposals for a number of these terms, which are often presented in lexicography as derivatives originated in Spanish.","PeriodicalId":44540,"journal":{"name":"REVISTA DE FILOLOGIA ESPANOLA","volume":"41 1","pages":"285-314"},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2017-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78463163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
