In reaction to the wide variations with respect to the quality of these dictionaries, this article attempts to articulate the beginnings of a rubric for the evaluation English-Spanish legal dictionaries, borrowing from Bryan Garner's work with of legal dictionaries, then turning to the literature evaluating bilingual dictionaries.
