These negative effects can have a differential affectation associated with psychosocial factors. Objectives/Method: The objectives were: to validate the Weight Efficacy Lifestyle (WEL) Questionnaire for Spanish children and adolescents; to analyze the relationship between well-being, socioeconomic level, body mass index, age, academic distress, social support for healthy and unhealthy eating, and self-efficacy; and to develop an explanatory model of well-being in children and adolescents based on their eating behaviors and other psychosocial behaviors. Results: Data were obtained from 299 children and adolescents (58.5% girls) aged from 9 to 18 years old (Mage = 12.92 years, SD = 2.74). Preliminary analysis showed adequate psychometric properties and results showed that perceived well-being was associated with lower academic distress and parent and peer social support for unhealthy eating, and with a better eating self-efficacy, parent support for healthy eating, and general weight management self-efficacy. Conclusions: Therefore, fostering confidence in children and adolescents about their weight management selfefficacy judgments may influence well-being, reduce body mass index, and prevent overweight and obesity.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68738933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Siguiendo metodologia PRISMA se recuperaron 49 articulos que cumplieron con todos los criterios de inclusion y calidad exigidos, y que revelaron prevalencias del 5,2% al 79% para estres, del 6,78% al 71% para los trastornos del sueno, del 4,98% al 50% para ansiedad, del 8,9% al 50,70% para depresion y del 4,4% al 19,10% para estres postraumatico. Las mayores prevalencias dependen de factores relacionados con situaciones de mayor riesgo (primeras fases de la pandemia, primera linea, escasez de recursos de proteccion personal y falta de apoyo social) y con la pertenencia a grupos poblacionales mas susceptibles (mujeres, personal sanitario de apoyo, con poca formacion sobre la COVID-19, de nivel socioeconomico bajo y/o vida sedentaria, entre otros). Prevalecen las intervenciones basadas en estrategias de intervencion temprana, de resolucion de problemas inmediatos y terapias cognitivo-conductual para incrementar las conductas adaptativas, mejorar las habilidades de afrontamiento al estres y establecer sistemas de apoyo social. EnglishRelating to poor mental health of healthcare workers due to COVID-19 pandemic, the present systematic review aims to synthesize the knowledge generated between November-2019 and September-2020 about psychological impact, risk factors and psychological interventions carried out on this population. Following PRISMA methodology, we retrieved 49 titles, which fulfilled all inclusion and quality criteria; and that revealed prevalences ranging from 5.2% to 79% for stress, from 6.78% to 71% for sleep disturbances, from 4.98% to 50% for anxiety, from 8.9% to 50.70% for depression and from 4.4% to 19.10% for post-traumatic stress disorder. Higher prevalences were dependent on experiencing situations of increased risk (early stages of the pandemic, working on the front line, the scarcity of personal protection resources or the lack of social support) and the membership to susceptible population groups (being a woman, working as a health support staff, have little training on COVID-19, being of low socioeconomic status and/or have a sedentary lifestyle among others). Prevail the interventions based on early intervention strategies, for solving immediate problems, and cognitivebehavioral therapy in order to increase adaptive behaviors, greater coping skills to stress, and establish social support systems.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":"12 1","pages":"58-75"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68739277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El presente meta-analisis tiene el objetivo examinar los alfas medios de este instrumento en instituciones penitenciarias y analizar el efecto de los moderadores en la fiabilidad. Los datos fueron recogidos a traves de las bases datos de Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest, Psicodoc y Cochrane. Se incluyeron 25 estudios que examinaban la consistencia interna en esta herramienta, reuniendo un total de 2.517 participantes de diferentes paises con una media de edad de 29,7 anos. Ante la ausencia de revisiones bibliograficas previas, este trabajo presenta una revision sistematica sobre la relacion del DES con el funcionamiento sexual y las conductas sexuales de rie sgo. A partir de la busqueda en diferentes bases de datos, se obtuvieron 22 articulos cientificos. Los resultados senalan que la actitud a favor del DES perjudica el funcionamiento sexual y favorece las conductas sexuales de riesgo, las cuales son mas perjudiciales para las mujeres. Se discute la importancia que tiene el estudio del DES en la salud sexual, para entender el funcionamiento sexual y la incidencia de las conductas sexuales de riesgo. Se recomienda mejorar los instrumentos para medir DES, con el fin de garantizar una evaluacion exacta e invariante de este fenomeno en aquellos grupos definidos por el genero y otras variables socioculturales. EnglishSexual double standard (SDS) refers to the acceptance of different criteria for the assessment of the same sexual behavior in men and women. Due to the absence of previous bibliographical reviews, this study presents a systematic review of the relationship between SDS, sexual functioning, and risk sexual behaviors. From a search of different databases, it was obtained a total of 22 scientific articles. The results indicate that attitude in favor of SDS harms sexual functioning and favors risk sexual behaviors, which were more harmful to women. The importance of the study of SDS in sexual health is discussed, to understand sexual functioning and the incidence of risk sexual behaviors. It is recommended to improve the instruments used to measure SDS, to guarantee an exact and invariant evaluation of this phenomenon in those groups defined by gender and other socio-cultural variables.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":"11 1","pages":"103-116"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2020-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45880018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
