In this context, the growing presence of solar photovoltaic sources has opened space for the development of more efficient inverters, in particular, the topologies of transformerless inverters and microinverters. Thus, in this paper we will propose the small-signal analysis of a Boost-Buck converter connected to an unfolding circuit for grid-tied single phase applications powered by a photovoltaic arrays. According to the principle operation, the circuit configuration and mathematical modeling will be presented considering the properties of the average state-space model of the converter. Finally, analyzes are performed on the impact of parasitic elements based on the mathematical model, as well as results of simulations of the inverter dynamics will be presented.","PeriodicalId":442384,"journal":{"name":"2021 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122383122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The time series of the inverter waveforms are collected for 3 cycles, then converted and analyzed using image processing. For the evaluation of the method by simulation, initially the structure of the H bridge three-phase inverter is used, and later the ANPC hybrid topology with asymmetric modulation, both operating in open loop. The line voltage and current waveforms for the first and the line and phase voltage for the second are the parameters for defining and comparing normal steady-state operating conditions and open circuit conditions in the switches. The work presents the promising ability of siamese neural networks to observe the inverter operating conditions and carry out the identification and diagnosis of faults, given the prior knowledge of the circuit behavior, with the advantage of calculating the similarities even without the use of specific data bank for network training.","PeriodicalId":442384,"journal":{"name":"2021 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127849305","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such voltage pollution results relevant high frequency current circulating inside the house wiring. The main reason is that the electronic loads, majoritarian in modern residences, have a capacitor in the front-end, what means, in the connection with the feeder, allowing a low impedance path for the high frequency components. Measurements with real loads and test capacitors allow making the above statement. For small and medium power loads, the high-frequency current has the same order of magnitude of the non-polluted load current. The impact on the behavior of each specific load as well as on the equipment reliability must be investigated. Finally, a different high-frequency voltage background was observed, probably due to similar PV inverters in the neighborhood, spreading through the distribution feeders.","PeriodicalId":442384,"journal":{"name":"2021 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131392976","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It does not require any sensors nor control circuits to control the capacitors voltage balance. A simple modulation technique is employed, which reduces the cost and the complexity of the control system design. Since the inverter has a gain of 1.5 it becomes attractive for replacing converters in applications that need an intermediate dc-boosting stage because the input voltage source has a low value, such as photovoltaic panels and full-cells systems. The operation and performance of the proposed topology are validated through simulation and experimental results.","PeriodicalId":442384,"journal":{"name":"2021 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP)","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131579191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based in electrical circuit of a single-diode for PV modules' the main goal is to perform through a comparative study of precision with applying the optimization methods Pattern Search (PS), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Evolutionary Particle Swarm Optimization (EPSO) in the process of parameters estimating in the PV module model. The global nonlinear model was initially proposed with a process for estimating its parameters using the PS optimization method, therefore, it is necessary to evaluate new optimization methods in the parameter estimation process of this model. Therefore, the precision of the global nonlinear model and optimization methods were evaluated, that is, its ability to predict the behavior of I- V and P- V curves based on comparison with experimental curves, using the Mean Absolute Error in Power (MAEP) as a comparative indicator for the PV module technologies of mono crystalline silicon, polycrys-talline silicon, amorphous silicon, cadmium telluride. The results showed that stochastic metaheuristic optimization methods can lead to good results in estimating the parameters of the evaluated PV modules model.","PeriodicalId":442384,"journal":{"name":"2021 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132237335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
