Although it can transmit audio signals, it is unable to transmit video signals. But VLC can. With advances in visible light communication (VLC) research, it is likely that one day mobile equipments would include the visible-light transceiver for wireless optical access to the Internet and visual and audio information. An audio/video (A/V) transceiver and a data transceiver that can connect to Android platforms are presented here. Real-time video and pulse-position modulated stereo audio signals are transmitted by a white LED over free space. With the system, users can virtually try on glasses to see how a particular glasses style looks and fits their face before they make a purchase. This really saves a lot of time for the selection of eyeglasses in the store. The proposed system first detects the face of a user, and then locates the corners of the user eyes. Based on the two corners, an isosceles right triangle is defined and then used to estimate the pose and scale of the face at any time using an affine transformation. The system thus automatically adjusts glasses images to fit the user's face pose and scale. The space signal attenuation model (SAM), received signal strength indicator (RSSI), link quality indicator (LQI), and network node location calculus (NNLC) were adopted in this system. The RFID WSN system provided real-time position for object recognition, and return the information as an object path information was recorded on the sensors. The Non-open signal attenuation model can reduce the error of the non-open space in the cement and metal building materials. The system used active RFID Tags. The system with a non-open-space signal attenuation model and an object localization algorithm demonstrated 100% identification capability in a non-open space with a radius of 5 meters. We proposed to reduce number of DCT coefficients from each 8×8 DCT block that is used to form ordinal measure. The aims were to increase matching rate while minimizing feature size. Four simulation rounds were conducted using CASIA database, each with different coefficients, namely 48, 32, 16 and 8 AC coefficients. It turned out that using as many as 8 AC coefficients from each DCT block resulted in a higher matching rate than using other number of AC coefficients of the block. The proposed method can increase averaged matching rate as much as 5% when using 8 AC coefficients. The technique applies the algorithm which registers a precalculated 3D model for the 2D images of the video frames. The algorithm first calculates the 3D locations of landmarks based upon the calibrated camera projector system and the matching the landmarks in the 3D model using CT-scan. We then generate the image to be projected on the skin curve of a patient from the registered 3D spinal model, and it is created for projecting on the pork or real patient for surgeons to process surgical procedure by utilizing their natural eyes system. First, the system locates the marquee in natural images by analyzing the optical flow fields of the video sequence. Meanwhile, the starting and ending time of scrolling texts can also be obtained. Then, text blocks are retrieved by the integration of temporal information and geometric projections. Finally, text blocks which have the same contents in adjacent frames are associated together. The full contents displayed by the electronic marquee are reconstructed by rearranging these text blocks. The WT-SVD-based watermarking is robust against various common image manipulations and geometrical attacks; however, it cannot resist against two security attacks, i.e. an attacker attack which successfully claims the real owner's watermarked image, and owner attack which correctly extracts watermark from any arbitrary image. As proved in this study, the SVD watermarking scheme cannot provide trustworthy evidence in rightful ownership protection.
