There are 3 problems that occur at the Wini border market, namely 1) During transactions, traders do not have a certain formula for determining and fixing exchange rates. Determining exchange rates in the market is only based on bargaining between sellers and buyers, 2) In the bargaining process, sellers and buyers do not see the exchange rate that applies when the transaction takes place and 3) traders in the border market determine the exchange rate during the transaction only following the exchange rate that has been made by other traders in the border market. The service was carried out using socialization methods and Focus Group discussions with 20 traders/buyers from Indonesia, Timor Leste and the governments of the two countries.The results of this community service provide understanding to buyers and sellers from two countries about the obligation to use the currency of the country where the transaction occurs, the importance of exchanging foreign money at a legal money changer, the rules regarding international trade, as well as an understanding of the basis for determining the selling value of products that bring business profits. . By doing business according to government regulations and international business standards, people in border markets can win profits.","PeriodicalId":441536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Community Service","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139211623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By supplying IOT-based automatic plant sprinklers for watering the local chrysanthemum horticulture, this PKM activity serves to support farmer organizations in the community. Chrysanthemum and rose picking excursions are one of the tourist attractions in Klino Village, one of the tourist destinations in Bojonegoro. The female farmer organization Blooming Sari is in charge of managing the chrysanthemum cultivation (KTW). Using hoses and padlocks, traditional watering procedures are still used, and they are done in the morning and evening. The approach used in this program is to have casual, one-on-one conversations with farmer groups, followed by observations of field requirements and the creation of tools. The stages of activities completed include site surveys, tool and material analysis, tool creation, tool testing, socialization, monitoring, and PKM program evaluation. This PKM activity resulted to the creation of an IOT-based, smartphone-controllable automatic plant watering solution. There are a number of challenges, including those in tool manufacturing that necessitate numerous trials, pipe installation that requires pipes to match the position point, network limitations, and others. This leads to the conclusion that this PKM activity is effective, capable of resolving issues, and perhaps a solution to the issues facing farmer groups in Klino Bojonegoro village.","PeriodicalId":441536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Community Service","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124526558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bawaslu has an essential role in realizing elections with integrity without the practice of money politics. One of the tasks of Bawaslu is to prevent the practice of money politics. One of the crucial components in the implementation of regional head elections (Pilkada) is the village and its citizens. The village, which is the closest component to the community in the election, becomes a place for the practice of money politics. The integrity of the Pilkada can be destroyed because of the practice of money politics that occurs in the village. A strategy to prevent money politics is needed in the village by building an anti-money politics village in order to strengthen local democracy.","PeriodicalId":441536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Of Community Service","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121888866","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
