This situation urges to implement online delivery as an alternative method. This study aimed assessing the access to and use of ICT by students, the ICT competencies possessed by the students, and assesses the current level of students’ readiness for online education methods in the developing country like Ethiopia. Sample of 106 undergraduate students were selected. Semi-structured survey questionnaire was used for data collection. The findings revealed that most of the students have very limited access to and use of different types of ICTs. Mobile phones are the most popular ICT tool used by students. Poor ICT using competencies is another problem observed. ICT experts in the field of online education need to plan smartphone-based technologies, and it is recommended to offer zero-rated access to specific educational websites, and offer free or discounted mobile internet packages to all students who need it to switch to online classes. This paper offers the development of mathematical modelling and design of a neural network control approach. The paper will begin with a mathematical model designing primarily based at the parameters of the active suspension system. A nonlinear three by four-way valve-piston hydraulic actuator became advanced which will make the suspension system under the active condition. Then, the model can be analyzed thru MATLAB/Simulink software program. Finally, the NARMA-L2, model reference and predictive controllers are designed for the active suspension system. The results are acquired after designing the simulation of the quarter-car nonlinear active suspension system. From the simulation end result using MATLAB/Simulink, the response of the system might be as compared between the nonlinear active suspension system with NARMA-L2, model reference and predictive controllers. Besides that, the evaluation has been made between the proposed controllers thru the characteristics of the manage objectives suspension deflection, body acceleration and body travel of the active suspension system. . As a conclusion, designing a nonlinear active suspension system with a nonlinear hydraulic actuator for quarter car model has improved the car performance by using a NARMA-L2 controller. The improvements in performance will improve road handling and ride comfort performance of the active suspension system. As the use of internet is exponentially growing, the need of massive data storage is increasing from time to time. Normally many of the documents contain morphological variables, so stemming which is a preprocessing technique gives a mapping of different morphological variants of words into their base word called the stem. Stemming process is used in information retrieval applications accordingly as a way to improve retrieval performance based on the assumption that terms with the same stem usually have similar meaning. To do stemming operation on bulky documents, we require normally more computation time and power, to cope up with the need to search for a particular word in the data. In this paper, various stemming algorithms are analyzed with the benefits and limitation of the recent stemming methods or approaches. In this paper, we introduce the nonlinear autoregressive moving average (NARMA-L2) model which might be approximations to the NARMA model. The nonlinear autoregressive moving average (NARMA-L2) model is an precise illustration of the input–output behavior of finite-dimensional nonlinear discrete time dynamical systems in a neighborhood of the equilibrium state. However, it isn't always handy for purposes of neural networks due to its nonlinear dependence on the manipulate input. In this paper, nerves system based arm position sensor device is used to degree the precise arm function for nerve patients the use of the proposed systems. In this paper, neural network controller is designed with NARMA-L2 model, neural network controller is designed with NARMA-L2 model system identification based predictive controller and neural network controller is designed with NARMA-L2 model based model reference adaptive control system. Hence, quite regularly, approximate techniques are used for figuring out the neural controllers to conquer computational complexity. Comparison were made among the neural network controller with NARMA-L2 model, neural network controller with NARMA-L2 model system identification based predictive controller and neural network controller with NARMA-L2 model reference based adaptive control for the preferred input arm function (step, sine wave and random signals). The comparative simulation result shows the effectiveness of the system with a neural network controller with NARMA-L2 model based model reference adaptive control system. Information resources exploited by university students to meet health information needs were also examined. The study made use of the descriptive survey design, randomly sampling respondents’ opinions on reasons for seeking health information and factors that militate against the effective use of health information. Of 377 respondents, 239 (63.4%) of them were disposed to seeking information on physical fitness or exercise and cold or flu. Newspaper (283 or 75.1%) was identified as respondents’ commonest source of health information. For university students, a major inhibitor of health information seeking outside the library is the high cost of accessing health information for personal use (318 or 84.4%). But within the library, the uncooperative attitude of library personnel (240 or 63.7%) was identified as respondents’ major hindrance in accessing health information in the library. The study recommended adequate provision of health information resources for students’ use and regular library personnel training to improve professional skills required for effective dissemination of health information, particularly to university students. In this paper, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) trained via Bat algorithm was employed for short term load projection of University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Daily load demand of the study area was obtained from the log records. The neural network was built, trained with historical data gotten from the premier University in Nigeria and then used to predict 24 hour’s load demand from Dec., 1 st to Dec., 7 th , 2016. The experimental results indicated that the proposed method achieved a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 6.60% and a Mean Percentage Error (MPE) of 4.17%. This research used descriptive type of research design which describes the performance and challenges of e banking as it is. The research employed both primary and secondary types of data and primary data were gathered through questionnaire that had both open and closed end questionnaires. The general populations of this research were 2532 e banking customers of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Wolita sodo branch. The researcher employed convenient sampling technique since the research assumed only those customers who use electronic banking from the bank. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage. To exploit the benefit of E-banking system, the bank needs to familiarize its customers with the processes and benefits of the system. The bank should strengthen its ICT department through providing training to IT personnel and procuring required hardware and software. The lack of legal and regulatory framework for e-banking services has discouraged banks from introducing this innovative e banking technology. Thus, government should issue laws that govern electronic payment. This helps financial service providers introduce innovative products currently in use around the world which are cost effective, efficient and safe. Traffic generated by these devices require more exploratory studies in order to determine the effective ways to secure transmitted data and avert exploitation by hackers. IoT devices susceptibility to direct or remote manipulation, secure channel used for message transmission and resilience of the underlying middleware (broker) to exploitation are very important issues that worth consideration. With more data ever being collected than before, the security of user’s information and devices identities are becoming a great concern. The researcher uses the International Telecommunication Union, UN and World Bank data and applies the instrumental variable-generalized method of moments to a panel of 19 countries over the period 2000-2015. Whether telecommunication investment contributes or not to economic growth has been at the center of literature debate over time with varying empirical evidences for developed and developing nation. The effect of telecom market privatization has been controlled through independent panels. The results show that the telecom index composed of the Internet, mobile cellular and fixed line has contributed to economic growth. A one percentage point increase in this telecom index usage raises real per capita growth by 0.02 for the panel of whole countries. The result is more than this for countries that privatized their telecom sector and less for those that failed to privatize. Overall, the results suggest that the expansion of telecommunications infrastructure fosters economic growth in East Africa. With much room for potential growth enhancement of telecommunications infrastructure, policies to expand access to telecom services should be strongly encouraged by respective governments in general and privatization of telecommunication remained under government control in particular is desired.
