The more successful the title is, the more attractive it is to the audience. The translation of film titles is more dependent on by audiences in different language and in different cultural backgrounds. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the translation of film titles. Firstly, it explores the significance of the innovation competition itself as a foundation for analyzing the impact of multidisciplinary integration on the development of participating students, faculty teams, and the advancement of disciplines. Secondly, it provides a detailed discussion on the outstanding achievements attained through the integration of three disciplines, namely environmental engineering, computer science, and art and design, within the context of the Water Environment and Water Ecology Creative Competition. Lastly, the paper concludes by summarizing the importance and value of multidisciplinary integration in undergraduate environmental protection design innovation. The advantages of improving the quality of physical education teaching include flexible selection of sports subjects, enhancing positive attitudes towards learning, continuous development and improvement of lecturers, testing and evaluation standards, and innovative teaching methods. The limitations identified are limited curriculum content, teaching plans dependent on weather conditions, limited lecturer team, and lack of motivation among some students. The participant recounted various memories related to the characteristics and behavior of his secondary school teachers, which fell into three main categories: “why did they ignore me”, “then they saw me” and “finally, he came and save me”. These memories revealed the barriers and supports the interviewee encountered in different educational environments, which greatly influenced the formation of his desired and feared possible selves. Moreover, the pre-service teacher recognized a conflict between the possible selves and teaching practices, and attempted to negotiate the past memories with future career, which was referred to as “no more acting against my beliefs”. {"title":"Study of Classroom Discourse of English-Major Interns from the Perspective of Functional Linguistics","authors":"Wen Cao","doi":"10.22158/elsr.v4n2p37","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22158/elsr.v4n2p37","url":null,"abstract":"Based on the qualitative analysis of classroom discourse of English-major interns, this study investigates the characteristics and causes of classroom discourse of English-major interns in underdeveloped areas in western China from the perspective of functional linguistics, and endeavors to explore the reasons for these characteristics from social context. The results show that the classroom discourse of English-major interns has the following three characteristics: 1) code-switching is common; 2) the types of clauses are mainly imperative sentences, declarative sentences with rising intonation; 3) teachers talk a lot and dominate the conversational turn. Code-switching reflects the shortage of target language input and outdated teaching methods in English class; and the second characteristic just echoes with existing research; teacher’s dominance over conversational turn indicates interns’ imitation of their instructors’ teaching mode, hoping to construct their teacher identity.
