Furthermore, the paper aims to model the factors which affect customer satisfaction of the smartphone.\u0000Methodology/Approach: A questionnaire was sent to 1,063 respondents in CR to collect data. Using structural equation modelling, relationships between factors of customer satisfaction within three models of customer satisfaction of select smartphone manufacturers were modelled.\u0000Findings: Effects of all investigated factors of customer satisfaction were verified, as well as all items which constituted the factors. Additionally, the functioning of the factor of total satisfaction with dimensions of general satisfaction and price tolerance was verified.\u0000Research Limitation/Implication: The research is limited by its focus exclusively CR, the number of manufacturers included in the research is rather low and small number of factors and items included in those factors.\u0000Originality/Value of paper: The models differed from each other in terms of the strength and direction of the relationships between the factors, which has implications for these recommendations. In general, each manufacturer has its own strengths and weaknesses (factors) that affect customer satisfaction with its product. Individual manufacturers can increase customer satisfaction by strengthening the positive factors or by learning from their competitors and eliminating or improving the factors that currently affect customer satisfaction negatively.

Internal customers refer to a company’s employees, while external customers are the buyers of a company’s products and services. Previous research has scrutinised the impact of ISO 9001 on company performance, without clear focus on the performance related to internal and external customers.\u0000Methodology/Approach: The purpose of this paper is to measure the impact of ISO 9001 on the performance to internal and external customers using a survey that has been responded by 141 companies in the Republic of Serbia.\u0000Findings: The results show that quality management system (QMS) certification to ISO 9001 enhances employee- and customer-related company performance, while certification incentives are found to influence this relationship.\u0000Research Limitation/Implication: The data are gathered in only one specific country, although there are no reasons to think that the results could depend of the specific analysed region.\u0000Originality/Value of paper: The main value of the article is to be one of the first ones to analyse, in any way, the impact of QMS on internal and external customers.

Data were collected using an online questionnaire from 386 SME managers who are members of the SME community in Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. SEM-PLS was used to analyse the data to examine the relationship of three latent variables: triple helix ecosystem, SME community, and SMEs’ performance.\u0000Findings: The triple helix ecosystem in this study was the collaboration of three agents, namely the government, large companies, and universities. This study proves that the triple helix ecosystem innovation is positively and significantly related to the performance of SMEs. Another important finding is that the SME community partially mediates the triple helix innovation ecosystem relationship and SME performance. The SME community has a strategic role in the triple helix agents intervention process to improve the performance of SMEs.\u0000Research Limitation/Implication: The data were collected through an online questionnaire so that it could not reveal the process of operational interventions of triple helix agents to improve SMEs’ performance. The reported uses of five whys were assessed using a Chi-square goodness of fit test. The way in which five whys is used, either as a brainstorming tool or a method that requires investigation, and the purpose of five whys were compared to the intended use using a hypothesis test of two proportions. The quality tools used with five whys was then assessed using a Chi-square goodness of fit test.\u0000Findings: Although more respondents use five whys as a root cause analysis (RCA) tool, the difference was not statistically significant. Respondents who used five whys with investigation used five whys as both a method for quality improvement and RCA more often than those who used five whys as a brainstorming tool without investigation.
