In the power quality management the parameters/factors like harmonic currents (HC) and reactive power (RP) yields the major issues in the power distribution units causing transformer heating, line losses and machine vibration. In order to overcome these issues several control mechanisms has been presented and implemented in recent past. The mechanism procedure based on synchronous reference frame (SRF) offers better response by dividing the HC and RP. But the SRF based mechanism procedure requires better synchronization among the utility voltage and input current. To achieve this, the existing researches have used digital signal processing (DSP) and microcontroller but these systems fails to provide better performance as they face issues like limited sampling time, less accuracy and high computational complexity. Thus, to enhance the performance of active power filter (APF) we present FPGA based methodology. Also, the performance authorization of the proposed approach, we have used Xilinx 14.7 and Modelsim (6.3f) simulator and compared with the work of [14]. From the results analysis it is found that the approach has got better performance than [14].","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114504294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a need to perform Natural Language Processing (NLP) using computer processing, so that computer based systems can be accessible through natural languages like Hindi. Therefore a language translator is very important tool to resolve this problem. One of the key challenges involved in the design of a language translator is Polysemy disambiguation. Polysemy means having two or more meanings to a single word. For language translation operations, it is crucial to find the right meaning of any given word in its context. This is known as Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD). Various resources and tools already exist for WSD in English language while regional languages have not been equally explored yet. This project has a user interface where the user enters a meaningful sentence in Hindi with polysemy word. The system identifies the polysemous word/s if any in the sentence and lists one or more meanings associated with the polysemous word. Using existing machine learning techniques the project identifies the right meaning of the polysemous word based on the given context.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"114 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123507245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the cloud services saves both users time and money. However, there are some security issues to be solved for personal users and enterprises to store data in the cloud. The fact is that users will not have any physical control over the outsourced data. The cloud user is concerned about the integrity of his data stored in the cloud as it can be attacked by attacker. The purpose of this paper is to suggest an efficient public auditing technique using Third Party Auditor (TPA) to verify the integrity of data stored in the cloud. The proposed auditing scheme makes use of AES algorithm for encryption and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-2) algorithm to generate verification metadata or message digest for data integrity check. The analysis shows that the proposed scheme is provably secure and TPA takes a constant time to audit files of different sizes.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129808163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The speed of the vehicle is controllable from sign posts along the highway or near toll booths or any other controls on the high way. Toll charges can be paid automatically without stopping but with necessary slowing down. If driver violates the traffic rules, amount can be deducted by the RFID Reader. Driver does cashless transaction using EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) every time since RFID Reader is rechargeable and account is stored on the records. The benefits include reducing the speed to avoid collisions with the other vehicles in the queue. Movement of vehicle will ultimately be smooth and hence traffic which aids to early clearance near tollbooth.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128869584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is an immense aid for people for whom mobility is a great challenge. There is a dire need for vision based interface over speech recognition as it failed to mandate the robots because of modulation and varying frequency. Gesture recognition consists of three stages: capturing of image, image processing and data extraction. The implementation is achieved by navigation of the robot through various gestures. By the impact of this project, life of physically challenged people becomes less challenging. From further research it will benefit various areas including applications in military and high security bases.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120942970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most WSAN applications (e.g., fire detection) demand that actuators rapidly respond to observed events. Therefore, real-time (i.e., fast) and fault-tolerant transmission and energy efficiency is a critical requirement in WSAN's to enable sensed data to reach actuators reliably and quickly. We then propose a Kautz-based REal-time, Fault-tolerant and EneRgy-efficient WSAN (REFER). REFER embeds Kautz graphs into the physical topology of a WSAN for real-time communication and connects the Kautz graphs usingidistributed hash table (DHT) for high scalability. We also theoretically study routing paths in the Kautz graph, based on whichwe develop an efficient fault-tolerant routing protocol. It enables the relay node to quickly and efficiently identify the next shortest path from itselfito the destination based only on node IDs upon routingifailure, rather than relyingion retransmission from the source.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125893948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
