Apart from CSP analysis's traditional application in time domain, it is extended to consider frequency domain information of EEG signal. After an artifact removal through the independent component analysis (ICA), the multichannel EEG signals are decomposed into a set of spatial patterns by CSP analysis, and the logarithmic frequency domain and time domain power distributions are calculated. Time-frequency power features are extracted on these distributions and optimized by a F-score method. Comparing with the traditional CSP methods, the proposed method not only retained the time domain variance features, but also induced the frequency band power features. Since F-score is easy and fast to calculate, and the F-score based method can quickly select more effective features from high dimensional data, depending on the importance and the discriminative ability of each data pattern. In our method, the F-score algorithm is also used to solve the traditional CSP problems such as the definition of common pattern number. The proposed method was tested on a five-task cognitive state analysis problem, and a recognition accuracy of 89.4% was achieved, that well approved the effectiveness and versatility of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":438549,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control (IMCCC)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129576948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the current distribution in a multi-phase cable distribution system is determined by the cable impedance, the FEM algorithm of the cable impedance matrix is introduced. Further, by using Maxwell-15, a 2-D model of single-core cables was established. The impedance matrix and current distribution under horizontal, double-row and triangle laying arrangement were then calculated. It is concluded that cables under triangle arrangement have the most balanced mutual inductance parameters, and the slightest electromagnetic coupling effects. Meanwhile, the current unbalanced degree of the triangle laying cables is also the least. The triangle laying arrangement is recommended in parallel single-core cable installations.","PeriodicalId":438549,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control (IMCCC)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122298045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared with the linear precoding, the capacity of the system also has a considerable increase. But there are still some problems. In this paper, the traditional TH precoding is improved. The channel matrix H is decomposed by GMD. The SNR of the parallel MIMO sub channel becomes the same and the difference of each parallel MIMO sub channel performance is small. Not only this has certain advantages in the performance of BER, but also we can implement the same modulation and demodulation schemes to parallel MIMO sub channels. It reduce the complexity of processing.","PeriodicalId":438549,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control (IMCCC)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126680610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This thesis presents a global tuning procedure based on multi-objective self-adaptive evolutionary programming algorithm (MOSAEP) which introduces self-adaptive variation rules. The main objective of this algorithm, by minimizing target functions, is to simultaneously optimize pre-selected parameters of TCSC and SVC in coping with the complex nonlinear nature to maintain the power transmission and improve the voltage stability. A three-machine nine-bus power system equipped with the coordinated designed SVC and TCSC controllers is applied to demonstrate the efficiency and robustness of the tuning procedure presented. Simulation results validate the improvement of transient stability in an optimal and globally coordinated manner compared with separate designed controllers.","PeriodicalId":438549,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control (IMCCC)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126748012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
