Using the tools of economic and mathematical modeling (based on correlation-regression), analysis of the impact of the indicator “market related expenditure and direct aids” (MREDA) on “rural development expenditure” (RDE) was made. The correlation between the indicator “financial framework total” (FFT) and MREDA was studied. It was found that tourism has a high potential to revitalize rural business and infrastructure the development of which were hardly hit by pandemic and suffer from the effects of crises caused by it. A structural scheme improving rural development by tourism promotion through financial and credit stimulation of tourist activity in rural areas was elaborated. However, today the problem of organizing investment in the tourism business, taking into account the environmental and cultural impact, is becoming more and more urgent. It causes a great practical need for conducting research on the investment process in the tourism business and theoretical justification of the choice of areas of investment activity activation in compliance with the criteria of economic efficiency, sociocultural sustainability and environmental safety. In the course of writing the article, the authors set a goal to demonstrate the possibilities of taking into account cultural factors in the process of modeling the socioeconomic sustainability of regional tourist clusters based on qualitative methods. Qualitative methods were chosen as the methodological basis for modeling, which allow us to systematize and formalize the main patterns of development and identify the vector of the most effective use of available resources. The formation of models describing the economic, environmental and sociocultural sustainability of the destination, which allow identifying key factors of sustainable development, can help ensure a long-term positive effect from the development of tourism in the region. The results of this study have theoretical and practical significance. They can be used as a basis for further scientific research and can also be used in the practical activities of tourism business entities, as well as state and local authorities and other stakeholders in the process of analytical justification of investment activities implemented on the basis of the principles of sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":43829,"journal":{"name":"Management Theory and Studies for Rural Business and Infrastructure Development","volume":"43 1","pages":"457 - 467"},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44673001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Food banks in the current form provide their services free of charge, however, these activities are closely associated with support from public budgets and volunteering. Currently, there is a growing tendency to revise the current funding scheme and the overall provision of food banks´ activities, as well as the efficiency aspects of their operation. It is, therefore, necessary to identify the essential aspects of the social responsibility framework, in particular from the side of participating entities as donors to food banks. The new situation calls for a revision of food banks´ operation schemes, including supportive voluntary intentions within the business environment. Specifically, the importance of the social responsibility of business entities can be seen in their inclusive assistance in the recent global COVID-19 crisis. This article aims at the identification of financial aspects behind voluntary donations to food banks, using the exploratory approach, namely via identification of major differences between voluntary donors and the respective industry benchmark in the field of financial criteria, focusing on Central and Eastern European countries (CEE). It was employed a methodological approach for testing independent observed samples to compare selected financial performance indicators´ mean values, using a two-sample T-test for equal and non-equal variances. Subsequently, a dynamic decomposition of observed financial performance indicators is conducted for a revision of the existence of mutual correlations. Differently from the main areas of interest of identified previous research on food banks´ activities, our effort is focusing on business entities in the role of food banks´ stakeholders. Corporate micro-financial data of foodstuff donors in Central and Eastern European countries according to their accessible annual reports and lists of donors to foodbanks are employed. Authors thus point out, based on provided empirical evidence, a need for a more inclusive type of attitude to food banks´ operations from the foodstuff production and distribution chain and its participants.","PeriodicalId":43829,"journal":{"name":"Management Theory and Studies for Rural Business and Infrastructure Development","volume":"43 1","pages":"442 - 456"},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44556749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was revealed that monitoring and purification of air, water environment and land resources requires immediate development and implementation of greening projects. This requires finding additional financial resources that are lacking in local budget deficits. To improve the quality of formation and use of local budgets, a method of monitoring the revenue side of local budgets is proposed, which consists in processing a set of data imported from monthly revenues and processed using predictive analytics tools. The methodology allows to identify significant and insignificant factors in a timely manner, including the environmental tax in the resulting factor - local budget revenues. With the development of analytical systems and the expansion of their application in the greening of industrial regions, the developed methodology will not lose its relevance. The developed methodology for monitoring the environmental tax and other taxes, fees and charges is aimed at identifying additional (indirect) sources of funding for greening projects in industrial regions, including metallurgical production. The method was tested on the revenues of local budgets of cities with metallurgical production - Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro for the period 2018-2020. The use of the methodology allowed to show that the revenues of the environmental tax are the most insignificant. It is also proposed to use the experience of developed countries in the mechanism of calculating the environmental tax in order to increase its amount.","PeriodicalId":43829,"journal":{"name":"Management Theory and Studies for Rural Business and Infrastructure Development","volume":"43 1","pages":"574 - 584"},"PeriodicalIF":1.4,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47775566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
