Firstly, the improved image recognition technology was used to extract the features of the collected images, and then the color and texture features of the feature images were extracted. The improved genetic algorithm was used to obtain the optimal weight value to further realize the fault identification and diagnosis of substation distribution transformer. What's more, the improved image recognition technology and the improved genetic algorithm were compared and verified, respectively. The results show that the improved image recognition technology can visually and intuitively display the abnormal conditions of equipment fault points, and can clearly reflect the essential characteristics of the images. The fault diagnosis accuracy of the improved genetic algorithm does not change with the increase of fault samples, and the accuracy can reach 97.5%. Finally, the fault identification and diagnosis system of substation distribution transformer was constructed and applied. The results show that based on the improved genetic algorithm, the error rate of the system is basically stable at about 0.8%, and can quickly approach the stable state. It has the advantages of short state adjustment time and fast adjustment speed.","PeriodicalId":438265,"journal":{"name":"2022 12th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114760000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditional risk assessment in the power system static security analysis area always uses the power flow model-based method, which cannot address all the possible operation scenarios. Therefore, a novel machine learning (ML) based data-driven risk assessment model for early-warning of power system transmission congestion is proposed in this paper. The proposed model can make full use of the power system historical operation data as well as the measurement of the current time step, which can be used in real-time for early-warning of the power system transmission congestion in advance. A feature selection method called Max-Relevance and Min-Redundancy (mRMR), is adopted to reduce the calculation burden of the ML model. Numerical tests are performed on a regional power grid of France. The proposed data-driven risk assessment model can accurately predict the risk conditions under normal operation, single and multiple component outage scenarios, over 93.3%. The result validates that our model can be used for real-time early-warning of power system transmission congestions.","PeriodicalId":438265,"journal":{"name":"2022 12th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115105220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper takes the randomness of the generator and the operating constraints of the electric power system unit into consideration, by using probabilistic production simulation and day-ahead optimal dispatching method, it builds the day-ahead output model of the generator. Then, further including the objective function and constraint conditions, as well as demand response resources, a day-ahead optimization model of the electric power system has been built. Finally, an actual power grid in a certain area is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the model. It turns out that the model works well to solve the conditions of random shutdowns, and reduces the losses caused by power outages.","PeriodicalId":438265,"journal":{"name":"2022 12th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128431108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, transient overvoltage will be formed in the operation process, which will affect the safe operation of the primary equipment connected with it, especially the transformer. In order to quantify the switching overvoltage of main transformer in hydropower station with Gil outgoing line, the distributed parameter model is established by using the electromagnetic transient analysis software ATP-EMTP. The influence of equipment operation, the number of outgoing lines, the length of connecting pipeline between transformer and Gil line, and the distance between arrester and high voltage winding on the switching overvoltage of main transformer in hydropower station with Gil outgoing line is simulated, the characteristics of switching overvoltage of main transformer are obtained. The analysis shows that the wave refraction and reflection during GIS operation is the main reason for the rise of switching overvoltage, and the overvoltage assessment should be carried out for the hydropower station with Gil outlet with complex structure.","PeriodicalId":438265,"journal":{"name":"2022 12th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130768122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
