The process of selecting descriptors from a large number of physicochemical parameters has become very critical in building QSAR models. Machine learning techniques like evolutionary algorithms can be implemented for this purpose. As the Genetic algorithm (GA) can select optimal descriptors from a large set in minimum time with the help of its stochastic nature, in this work genetic algorithm(GA) has been used to develop QSAR models to predict the inhibition activity of Asparagine endopeptidase (AEP) which is an important enzyme having a key role in the treatment of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, and tumors. Models were built using a set of 60 organic compounds showing excellent experimental interaction with the AEP enzyme. GA-based molecular docking has also been performed to validate the inhibition potency of the studied ligands. The ligand number 4 showed the least binding energy as −8.9. The ligand 4 formed 5 hydrogen bonds with the protein showing greater inhibition capability for AEP.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123824380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To obtain noise-decomposed signals, the Local mode decomposition (LMD) technique is initially applied that results in a series of product functions (PFs). The selection of the sensitive PF component consisting of the most sensitive information related to the type of fault is determined by the singular value decomposition (SVD) based entropy method. Further to extract the underlying physical characteristics from the selected PF components, two feature extraction indices (FEIs) i.e. energy operator (EO) and mutual information entropy (MIE) are proposed resulting in a feature matrix. Finally, the obtained feature matrix is normalized and given as input to the modified K-means clustering method for classifying the proposed PQDs. With maximum classification accuracy (CA) and less computational time, the proposed system proves its efficacy and robustness in comparison to the traditional K-means clustering method.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"491 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122502080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Visual discomfort can be caused by either too little or too much light. This paper discusses the concept of visual comfort and how it might be attained in offices by either upgrading available electrical lighting fixtures or making better use of natural light. Several new technologies that ensure visual comfort in offices are reviewed in the paper, with the goal of worker productivity while reducing wasted energy in lighting, thus increasing energy efficiency and contributing to solving the global warming problem. This review contributes to a critical analysis of the gap in current solutions. It offers suggestions and recommendations that we hope will aid in the development of comfortable lighting in green offices.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121248786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The chaotic behavior of the Pi-map is appreciated with respect to Lyapunov Exponent (LE) and bifurcation graphs. The LE which is stable and highest is also compared those reported elsewhere. The image encryption performance of Pi-map is corroborated on a simple ImES consisting of only two operations which are permutation and diffusion. The ImES with Pi-map is crypto-studied through various analysis and, they are even crosschecked with the others in the literature. It is shown that ImES is eminent and reliable thanks to the capability of the Pi-map regarding randomness and complexness.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133234964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whether mobile, laptop or any other device, even the smallest of transferred data will leave a trace. This is a very good and enhancing approach towards detecting criminal activities by analyzing the network traffic of the source computer. Network data is however more unpredictable and volatile as compared to the preserved data. Investigators mostly analyze the firewall, packet transfer and other details. Generally, there are two type of systems used to analyze the network traffic like “catch me if you can” in which packets are captured and stored in the system in a batch mode or “stop, look and listen” where the data is analyzed sequentially in memory and only useful data is stored for further. This study can efficiently be done by packet analyzer which is an open source tool built to study the packets and various aspects of their behavior. The sole purpose of this paper is to understand how important network forensic is and how can this packet analyzer can help in finding out the suspicious packets in network and hence providing secure network and also conducting network forensics in various aspects such as port filtering, following up a packet, collecting raw data, tracing up a network threat, converting channels etc.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116578724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article also describes an approach to realize fractional-order active filters using fractional-order elements and studied its output voltage stability over a frequency range. The filters' response in both low and high frequency range have been simulated in P-Spice and Matlab for comparison with experimental results. Both low-pass and high-pass filters incorporate two capacitors which are used as non-integer (i.e. fractional) devices. This requires two fractional capacitors with orders $alpha$ and $beta(0 < alpha, betaleq 1)$. The outputs of the two proposed filters shown in frequency domain were obtained experimentally and have been compared with simulated results using MATLAB and P-Spice toolbox. This simulation was carried out by taking fractional-order element which is approximated with a Domino Ladder network representation.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123234940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The back EMF of motor is taken into consideration and measured according to zero crossing point (ZCP) detection along with Park's transformation algorithm. The speed control performance observed using a PID controller. The PMs used in BLDC have provided different rotor positions which determine the commutation sequence of semiconductors used in Inverter Bridge. The power devices are commutated sequentially for every 60 seconds depending on the rotor positions. In order to get linear performance and low-cost stable operation here a sensorless method is proposed. The whole performance is simulated in MA TLAB Simulink and results are analyzed.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128316275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is also essential to fabricate good quality and highly reproducible film with low cost. Taking this into view, we have synthesized Cu doped ZnO (Zn0.85Cu0.15O) by chemical wet and dry (CWD) coating technique indigenously developed in our lab. The developed set up has in-situ annealing facility for which post annealing is not required. In the beginning, highly pure Cu doped ZnO powders were synthesized by chemical route which is completely polycrystalline in nature. Then these polycrystalline powders were considered for preparation of solution with various molar concentrations, for fabrication of film of Cu doped ZnO. The synthesis parameters like driving speed of the gear for vertical movement of the substrate and molar concentration of solution were varied. It is observed from the XRD pattern that the synthesized film has grown in a particular orientation to form a layer which is single crystalline in nature. The electrical characterization has been carried out by Hall effect measurement set up.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117086171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different control actions need to be employed to pertain necessary controls in the power system. In this regard, current research paper proposes a robust Proportional Integral and Derivative (PID) controller as primary and secondary controller for this combined research work. The primary PID controller especially meant for only ELD concern, however the secondary PID controller works for the AGC analysis. The function of the primary controller is to control the generation of plant with optimum and cost effective without violating the generation limit. Whereas the responsibility of the secondary controller is maintain stability over system frequency and scheduled tie-line power under any uncertainties. Further, the paper has suggested a novel water cycle algorithm (WCA) to select optimal parameters of the proposed PID controller under any operating situations. Finally, various comparative studies have been synthesized to defend supremacy of the proposed PID controller over PI controller.","PeriodicalId":436488,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference in Advances in Power, Signal, and Information Technology (APSIT)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125759172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
